Fish pose LOL! No, I didn't know the name of it. I've done K yoga not Hatha, and

only know a few names like Cobra and Frog. Fish pose, that cracks me up! I'm a

Pisces who loves all things watery, so this is simply joyous news. Thanks for

It's Meen in Sanskrit,to be pronounced as keen/seen/teen

I don't know much about Sanskrit. Would you be so kind as to help me understand

about the pronunciation? Under which circumstances is it pronounced keen or seen

or teen? Is it pronounced other ways as well? If so, why?

Its not Sanskrit name of the pose but of horoscope sign, Horoscope sign of pices

in English is  called meen.The  fish pose is called Matsyasan.

Matsya means fish and is also name of 1st incarnation of Lord Vishnu.They are

Matsya (fish) Koorma(Tortoise)Varah,Narsiha,Vaman,ParashuRam,Shri Ram,Lord

Krishna,Buddha and Kalki.Matsyasan or fish pose is to be pronounced as

Matsya-aasan...shrikant{ I thought you wanted to know name of horoscopic sign
