Guest guest
Dear Iona, I 100% agree with Julie and Jan. Please feel at ease with the decision to not support the man and his girlfriend. I used to be a CASA volunteer and I am a Pediatric Nurse. The one who can not speak are the ones that need the backing, the support. There is enough information out in our times for people to know how to properly feed a small infant, so please don't make excuses for these parents. There is no excuse for bruses, broken bones, malnutrition, starvation and the failure to thrive..that far away blank stare you saw in the baby's face. The failure to thrive also comes from not being held, loved and cared for and these babies know that they are not being loved and they fade away. I have seen these cases alot. Please feel at peace for being on the baby's side, this is the best love you can give. Prayers for you and this baby, Pamela M
