Our roots run deep and solid, we hold our heritage dear. The Loro men are our foundation. They hold the tenets of our life They keep us safe from any harm And handle any strife. The women build the legacy by caring for the home Raising all the children, ensuring the men don't roam. Faith, home and family, the children come to know They remain in the community insuring the family grows. Our American family members visit now and then We open up our homes and hearts after all, they are kin. The ebb and flow of the Loro family is like the Brenta river At times it slows - at times it flows With a never ending giving. God has been good to us in many varied ways We thank him for the gifts he sends each and every day. We're the Buratoni women. We sing the praises of the land We travel in this life on earth Beside the Loro men hand in hand. Written by loro/10-2006
