Guest guest
Chrism/All: I wish to share of a fascinating happening. Today at the veterinary clinic I was able to immediately assist a pet and aid in the diagnosis of an atropine poisoning. The pet (dog) was having seizurs, bronchial spasms, narcosis, and mild paralysis etc. The story is a little long but the dog had injested numerous berries, root and plant parts from a Belladonna. I was able to very rapidly calculate the pets weight in relation to rate of metobolism, and the approximate plant properties/composition causing the toxicity. We immediately ruled out other factors, and instantly dove into treatment for toxitity. The pet is being held for observation, but we think that the rapid ruling out and recognition of the condition, as well as immediate treatment, very well saved this dog's life. The reason why this is so fascinating to me is that I had shared with Chrism last week that I had written down and computed how to poison a dog using Datura. It was at the time of the posts regarding the Datura plant. I expressed that this is not something that I felt was action oriented, but rather a teaching of some sort. It felt like my knowing, but not necessarily of myself. None-the-less it was a great concern to me, and I had given my word that I would keep communication open with my teacher, and so shared of this. When I called Chrism from a nearby park, I had just returned from spending some time with my dog, and my actions were that I had taken him to the Pet store to watch birds and hamsters and to pick out a new bone for his birthday! I had shared with that I do not know about the chemical composition of plants, I do know of their healing properties, but not their chemistry breakdown, let alone compute the ratio of such for lethal dosaging. Here I am a week later, assisting a pet who was poisoned by the very agent that is also what makes the Datura plant toxic. When I got home from work, my eye caught a buttery soft mauve colour against the wall, and there stood a single, so fragrant rose. Amazing, and I'm so grateful. Guest guest
So a sort of precognition, readiness for the coming situation though you didn't know what that would be and maybe thought it was for a negative purpose. Wow, Danielle! I am yet again amazed by the Divine! Hope you are feeling better about it now.
