Guest guest
Marty, For me the phenomena have been very mild and tend to be in the form of blissful states and stillness. Sometimes these come upon me at the most unexpected moments. Over time, they have become stronger and more blissful. Haven't had a problem pulling my attention back to the matter at hand if I am in a situation where I need to function externally. In part, I attribute this to giving the K her time - I set time several times each day for K to have her way and practice the safeties, meditate, etc. During much of the day I do mantra, though this is my preference - others will find other techniques. It's good to read about the various phenomena that may occur and that others have experienced so that if any of it happens to you, you are not taken unawares and do not respond with fear. But I wouldn't have any expectations - K manifests for each of us differently - She gives us each whatever we uniquely require. I would just try to go into this with no expectations (easily said, hard to do!) and embrace whatever manifests. You may also want to read through the list of K symptoms - in all likelihood you have already experienced some of these phenomena, since you found your way here. What you experience here is a continuation of events set in motion before you incarnated and a continuation of your path in this lifetime. It just gets better, more intense, and more blissful. No need to fear or to expect. Practice all of the the safeties diligently. The safeties provide balance. When you do your yoga or chi kung you do not necessarily worry about when will I experience this experience that I read about? When will this or that occur? You just do them and stay in the moment, experiencing whatever they bring as it occurs. Same with the safeties and partaking of the Shaktipats. Just experience them and allow them to do whatever they will do. And trust that between the balance they provide and the support given here, you will experience whatever your karmas and Shakti's grace allow and choose to deliver.
