Guest guest
I stood in the crowded cafe and saw the storm approach. I had come to this place as a quick stop before continuing into the morning and as I stood in front of the glass door the first part of the cloudburst began to slant into the earth carried by a strong wind. It flew into the world sideways piercing everything in its path. Everyone stared. " Whoa look at it go! " people murmured amongst themselves as the heavenly floodgates opened wide. I stared out at the rain pelting everything in its path with relentless fervor. As if each drop had its own individual desire and need to land the gift of itself upon the earth. The gift of itself. I was given the parallel of the Kundalini and its way of working though and from and within an individual as a " gift of its self. " As the cascade of cloud born love reached its seeming peak of fury, I stepped out into that rage of raindrops. I was almost blown over by the wind and water as the drops stretched out wide inside of it like clear needles. They gave of their love with a passion unmatched! They pounded me with gale force drive as I with gratitude slowly turned into their embrace. It was extremely dense and I was soaked before I even got half of the thirty yards to the vehicle. I was being drenched in love and I was in no hurry! People stared. I didn't care. I felt the sting and the splat and the ardor of each individual drop as it slammed itself into and upon me. I looked into them to receive their raging kisses upon my face and I thanked the divine for such an awesome gift. This gift of love, this gift of transformation from the body of the individual drop into the stream, creek, river, and the sea. The powerful journey of the raindrop as it is transformed and enlarged and expanded exponentially as it becomes the sea and the sea becomes it. Similar to my journey. I too am expanded and transformed by the love of the divine Kundalini. I have become the drop of Kundalini and the Kundalini has become the drop of me. Together we radiate the divine love upon all within its reach. I realize that I am guided to give and to love and open and give of myself and to do it with strength and passion and power of the love of a raging raindrop! This is the natural way. -
Guest guest
Ooh wow...this makes my heart POUND. I actually had to step away from this writing for it drenched me with it's beauty. I wanted to experience the drinking of it in, and feel it seep into all the little crevaces and trickle through me. The sensation, the passion and love then pushed up like a tidal wave and left me with an awe expression and feeling. This is SO beautiful, Chrism. So visual, and tactile and just so beautiful. Thank you for experiencing this and sharing in the way you have. Thank you. Love and Blessings to You, Chrism. -Danielle , " " <> wrote: > > I stood in the crowded cafe and saw the storm approach. Guest guest
dear chrism: a storm of wonder...I can only imagine how others looked at you loving and being embraced by the storm- they have no idea of the feelings the power of the divine can invoke especially a wonderous storm. I am grateful for your sharing of this precious time spent with the forces of nature in a loving embrace and I am grateful for the explanation of love given to you by each raindrop and from you to all of us. Someone mentioned recently about seeing Kundalini in all aspects of one's life as we go about in our daily journey. You just demonstrated how deep that seeing and knowing can be if one is mindful of Kundalini at all times. And how easy it is to make connections that teach us and show us deeper meanings of self within the Kundalini path. How I enjoy and embrace your words - this post definitely is one for the poetry section. You are writing much more deeply from the creative soul that is chrism. Shakti is finding a new approach that will resonate with many on a basic level of meaning ( from the heart of chrism ). I thank you for the lessons and the love that is given. May you experience many more powerful and loving storms. e
Guest guest
I would have joined in, and maybe squeeled in delight once I gotten through the initial sting of it. This makes me think of when I was a child...when the winds came gusting through, I would run outside and prop myself up against the trees still growing; I didn't want for them to break. We had five acres and many little elm and aspen trees to brace and embrace. The rain would pelt me so hard...and I would just push against the trees with all my little might and sometimes gerrr like The Hulk, or laugh in delight while being one with the storm. But then through the billows, I would hear my full name being called and see my mum running out under the elements to fetch me. Lovingly so, it was followed by a few choice words of frustration and a cozy towel embrace, and a nice warm cup of hot chocolate or tea. score! LOL. Guest guest
I love this! I've been in a similar situation but my love of it didn't go as deep as yours. I accepted the wetness and was grateful for the rain as we always need it here. I learn and anjoy reading of your experiences and it is poetically written, as said. Nice mental picture, too! Love to all, Valarie

Guest guest
This brought back good childhood memory of mine as well. I love it when it rained and would often strip out of my clothes and go out and have a rain shower. I loved the way rain made my hair so soft and shiney. As a teen, I did not strip of my clothes any longer but would go out on the porch and lean my head over and wash my hair as the rain poured from the roof. We had a couple of very rainy days without the lightening on Thursday and Friday and I went out in the rain a couple of times to feel the rain drops on my body. (not naked, but wished) I invited my dog and cat to join me, but they just sat in the doorway and looked at me as if I were a totally coo-coo. I loved the way you expressed your experience of the raging raindrops, Chrism. Guest guest
To Love Like a Raging Raindrop Wash over me with your pelting rain Your liquid silver dew Wash over me and through me And leave me clean and cool. Wash through me with your silver shots And claim me for your own; Then strip the shards of self away And for my lack atone. I gladly yield my self to you Baptize me in your rain And wash away all evidence Of self's dispair and pain. To you I yield, to you alone From now throughout all time; Relinquishing what lies behind: Now clothed in the sublime. Diane Baugh

Guest guest
I liked every ones experiences regarding rain.During childhood days when rain started in initial stages some rain drops were here some there, scattered every where ,with the wind they moved in front,I used to run and tried to catch them with open palms of both hands, before heavy showers began. We played football in heavy rain, hitting the muddy ball on opponents body, tripping them purposely so they fell on the ground, soaked with mud and water. In those days footballs were not so soft as of present days. They were heavy, and with rain they used to get heavier, making difficult to kick or heading them........................shrikant ________________________________ danceswithcats999 <crazycats711 Mon, 23 November, 2009 1:27:15 AM Re: Love like a Raging Raindrop  This brought back good childhood memory of mine as well.
