This is as a way of conscious ego reduction. A way of giving of self to the

divine within. I suggest the star pattern of prostration. Typically all manner

of ego expression is refused i.e.:

Clothing

Jewelry

Mat

Extraordinary comforts

Let your body be splayed out upon the floor or dirt. Arms and legs spread as

wide as is possible as an offering of openness and ego surrender. Face to

ground. As you are face to ground recite a prayer that best exemplifies your

commitment to surrender. Surrender to the divine force within. Not to a person.

If you have a photo or picture of your Divinity or Guidance then in the star

pattern or position push yourself up with your arms arch your back upwards

slightly and recite the prayer over and over as you surrender with your gaze

fixed on the picture.

I have done this and it is good. It does have an effect when done with sincerety

and consistency.

Let yourself be surrendered in this way as an attribute to your development. -

Hi and All,

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I just did the prostrations today and it was a most

humbling exercise. i started by drinking my Shakti water and rubbing my chakras

with it. i then did my tibetans for the morning and proceeded to prostrate

myself in front of the Holy Cross of the crucified Christ. my body started to

shake and i feel my nothing ness & smallness in the presence of God. it drove me

to tears and my head was filled with light as bright as the sun.

after maybe 10 or 20 minutes i stood up and put my hands together in my chest

namaste position and prayed the Lord's prayer.

the light shine so bright in my head and i felt the liquid love flowing from my

crown down into my spine filling me with so much bliss and love.

i am so grateful to Shakti and my K for these wonderful gift of love. thank you

so much dear chrism for the guidance and patience and love you shower to each

and everyone of us here.

Namaste,

edgar
