In response to some posts about grounding stones.

A really good grounding stone is Garnet. Preferably raw/rough, not polished

garnet. You can get some really nice raw garnet specimens on ebay.

Chrism please verify this information, but I found that garnet also sometimes

stimulates the Kundalini, it only happened the first time I used it though, and

I was holding it for 2 hours.

" Garnet and the Chakras

With respect to the Chakras, garnet is readily associated with (2nd) Centre and

the Base/Root/Spine (1st) Centre. Garnet not only clears the blockage of

negative energy from these areas, it also is used in the healing and enhancing

of the activities that occur within and via the centre. Within the realm of the

2nd Chakra (that of the Navel/Sexual/Spleen), garnet has many functions. It acts

as a vehicle for the passion and spirituality that are involved in emotional

character of sexuality to communicate and influence the physical aspects. It

aides in administering both healing and romantic energy when levels are low or

difficult to obtain. For this reason, garnet is a healing stone for those who

desire a spark in an existing or in beginning a relationship. It has also been

highly utilized in helping to heal and energize those who feel they have been

sexually weakened (by self-consciousness or other means). Physically some have

used it to aide in relieving the negative energy that blocks the sexual centre

related to infertility. As a stone of sexual power, garnet acts to renew, awaken

and heal the sexual centre. For the Base/Root/Spine (1st Chakra), garnet helps

by absorbing energy from locations in the body where there exists surplus and

filters it into a fresh and positive energy that is very usable and stimulating

to the Base. It not only stabilizes the foundation, it also arouses and

initiates energies related to peak performance in life. "

Garnet? This is a new one for me.I have not used this gem or rock as a

grounding method. I'll go to the metaphysical store after Thanksgiving to

see if I can find one.

.go to you local metaphysical store where you reside and buy one.Sales

prices vary between $2 dollars to higher depending on the size and place of

purchase.

Go with the one you " feel " is right for you not the price if you can. I am

not sure..but here in Texas our Hobby Lobby or garden Ridge Pottery has

various gemstones as well..you may try looking there too.

Good Luck!

Thanks - I will be looking for one and a few other things. I wear a large

quartz with stones representing the chakras- am not sure what all the stones are

but there may be a garnet on it - never thought of hobby lobby go there at

times.

Am so happy you are able to share here once again Denny - you offer such good

insights and have experienced so much. I love it when members return - it is

like a family ever changing and then revisiting.

Blessings dear friend...
