Guest guest
Hi Andy and Bruce and all  I would be very interested in hearing more discussion on Freedom. I assume that we will have different ways of looking at it and if others are ok with it I would love to hear different view points. If we assume that reincarnation is what occurs and karma is expressed assimulated and experienced in our reincarnations, are you saying that this means we really do not have  free will. So can I check, are you saying whether we emulate the best from within or emulate the worst from within it is not really our choice but a predetermined occurence??  Perhaps this is not what you mean at all and I have misunderstood. I do not know a huge amouont about this subject but I do think that reincarnation and Karma does not rule out personal choice and free will and  personal responsibility. I think God created laws and we can choose to be either lawful or not, but it is our free will which determines which we choose, it is not predetermined.   Anyway those are my thoughts I would be really interested in hearing others if they feel like sharing. Love Julia. ________________________________ Andrew <andyrpreston Mon, November 30, 2009 9:45:40 PM Re: Checking in..  Interesting point Bruce, about our freedom. I was thinking about just that the other day. I thought, If I am seeking enlightenment, k-awakening and spiritual progression, then it will either happen for me or it wont. If it does, it was always going to, and if it doesnt, it never was... I talked to my wife about that. Her thinking was that if I just relaxed and stopped worrying about the futu.re I wouldn't put the effort in and things wouldn't happen for me. I disagreed. I said, if its my future to put the effort in, then I will. Hah ha! (she began ignoring me at that point and turned the tv on) As double dutch as that sounds, its also quite a relaxing thought. I cant do anything about my future, its always going to unfold exactly how it will. And I concur on the coffee, I gave it up for about 6 months, then started drinking it again last week. Eugh, do I ever feel bad off it. Time to quit it again for good I think. Green tea all the way lol Andy
Guest guest
Hi Julia Back a few weeks ago when you ask about freewill and we chatted about it that night. I can't remeber if I posted this or not. I think that was when I was very, very sleepy and couldn't wake up. I had a dream that night or some night. In the dream I was told that the eogic self seems to have loads of freewill, but they do not have any. It is just an illusion that it seems so. The higher self has complete freewill, but is seems as if it as none. The thing is here, the higher self's will is the same as the Creator so it just seems as if they have none because of that. It wasn't said to me in those exact word, but that is the jest of it to my understanding and rememberance.
