Guest guest
Hi, I have been silently enjoying this group for a few months, and now I am making myself known in order to call on the wonderful support and advice available here. I have been K-active for about a year and a half. My awakening happened in three stages: the first two times I shut it down because it seemed incompatible with the ordinary life I was leading, and the third time I accepted it and surrendered because I had a diagnosis of cancer and I was open to anything that might help. It first started to happen in the 80s, when I was meditating with a group of Muktananda/Gurumayi followers; the second time was in the late 90s when I received a giant chakra-to-chakra- bear hug from someone who was obviously K-active; and the third time was at the hands of a K-active and intuitive energy worker who intentionally led me down the path he knew I was following. Ka-boom!! I had physical experience along with a religious experience, then an intense activation lasting about 6 months. It was Heaven and Hell at the same time. I didn't start to feel even moderately functional until after a year. Good thing I'm retired, since I could never have held a job. Through it all I had very little support, and I only figured out what was going on by diagnosing myself with a list from the Internet. Now, to my amazement, I have K-activated someone else! I give Reiki, and the intense experiences reported by some people I work on have led me to believe that my Reiki must be K-powered, but I never expected this! Has anyone else had this experience? Are there support groups for K-givers as well as K-receivers? Are there any suggestions for ways to support the person I activated, or ways to approach similar situations in the future? Thanks for any help you can give. Kgrandmapoethealer
Guest guest
Welcome to the group Kgrandmapoethealer!. I wish I could give you some advice, but I have been practicing K awakening for less than a year, so I do not want to give you any incorrect advise, or advise that comes from my ego. But there any many folks here who can help you. Guest guest
Dear Kgrandmapoethealer: So glad you have joined the KAS1 family! I too am a grandma, age 68, of 8 grandkids: 22, 19,19,17,17,14,13 and 4; 4 girls and 4 boys. My experience has been different than yours, so I have no insight to give re reiki, but I can tell you that you will find this to be a group of caring supportive K active people. I hope you will post more about yourself, so we can become better acquainted with you and learn from you as you learn from us. Blessings, Peace and Love Diane  ________________________________ chatoiseau <chatoiseau Sat, December 12, 2009 9:30:51 AM K givers  Hi, I have been silently enjoying this group for a few months, and now I am making myself known in order to call on the wonderful support and advice available here. Guest guest
hi Grandmapoethealer, welcome to the group I can understand about the challenges of being functional in society with K and how it can be difficult to hold down a job. I was actively teaching 5-6 hours a day when I was going through the rollercoaster period, and it was often difficult. Teaching was good as it allowed me to spread energy out. I have been K. active around 5 years now. Some of the people I have beeb close to have shown signs of activation, yet they havnt progressed into full awakening. A couple who may have, I have lost touch with. I have no intention to try and activate anyone at this stage I dont know about support groups for K. givers, but this is one that is good for people with K. or wanting to activate K. love Bruce , " chatoiseau " <chatoiseau wrote: > > Hi, I have been silently enjoying this group for a few months, and now I am making myself known in order to call on the wonderful support and advice available here. > > I have been K-active for about a year and a half. Guest guest
Mike, Thank you for your welcome to the group. You are the only person I have heard from who is practicing K awakening, so anything you can share about it would be appreciated. I went through my own awakening pretty much by myself, so I don't want to leave anybody I may awaken alone like that. And I really don't know if it will ever happen again; I guess I will just wait and see what the Universe brings to me. Currently many who are drawn to me seem to be on a spiritual path, and I just open up and let it flow, in the context of a Reiki session. I spent a long time asking, " Why me? " about my K awakening (in between bouts of ecstacy and feeling like the luckiest person alive!), but my energy work now feels really comfortable and right. Finding a balance between healthy, positive self-concept and ego does not seem to be a problem at the moment, as I have lots of things in my life to keep me humble. Aging of the body, for example, and the ageism of others who assume that a Medicare card is the equivalent of a lobotomy. Little do they know what is going on inside!! K may be the fountain of youth. Guest guest
Kgrandmapoethealer, Hello >> You are the only person I have heard from who is practicing K awakening Well I think most people here on this group (those who havnt been awakened yet) are practicing awakening. The safeties on the KAS-1 site are there for you to balance and condition your body/mind for the awakening. >>K may be the fountain of youth. Yes! Here is a sometime about the tibetan rites: In his booklet, Kelder claims that while stationed in India, British army officer Colonel Bradford (a pseudonym) heard a story about a group of lamas<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lama>who had apparently discovered a " Fountain of Youth <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fountain_of_youth> " . The " wandering natives " , as he called them, told him of old men who inexplicably became healthy, strong, and full of " vigor and virility " after entering a particular lamasery <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lamasery>. After retiring, Kelder's Colonel Bradford went on to discover the lamasery and lived with the lamas, where they taught him five exercises, which they called " rites " . According to the booklet, the lamas describe seven spinning, " psychic vortexes " within the body: two of these vortexes are located in the brain, one at the base of the throat, one on the right side of the body in the vicinity of the liver, one in the reproductive anatomy, and one in each knee. As we grow older, the spin rate of the vortexes diminishes, resulting in " ill-health " . However, the spin rate of these vortexes can be restored by performing the Five Rites daily, resulting in improved health. Guest guest
Mike, Yes, I LOVE the fact that the safeties are posed for all to see and benefit from. They are a tribute to chrism's competence and caring. I only wish I had known about them in my time of need, and I do plan to give that Web address to the person I surprisingly activated. I am still interested in comparing notes with you or anyone who has activated K in others. Otherwise, I'll be feeling really lonely again! Guest guest
Dear Grandmapoethealer, I did not say hi earlier so I would like to do so now. I am a grandma too, I have 2 granddaughters aged 6 and 2 years. I am aware of K being activated in someone close to me but while I may have been the connection that facilitated the activation in this person it is not something I want to speak about generally. Perhaps if this activation was a big and dramatic event perhaps I might then need to receive some supportive feedback. This activation is coming in a gentle way and I think this is between this person and their K, and has nothing to do with me, except to offer love and support as always. I think we send out " little activations " of K all the time through out our day , or K energy, or K love or whatever we choose to call it ... I think we send out love and it is received in different ways by different folks.....that is what it seems like to me. don't be lonely stay around. Guest guest
Dear Julia, Thank you for your welcome. The person I refer to reports being knocked off his feet and having to crawl from the shower and lie on the bathroon floor, among other events. On the other hand, he also says he is sleeping better, unlike me and other K folks I have met who were only able to sleep three hours a night or so for months. And he had dramatic interior experiences while receiving reiki from me, such as seeing me dressed in robes of light with hands extended towards him, energy swirling from them. Now, this is a guy who regularly sees auras and has had significant precognitive experiences, but he had never heard of kundalini. Remembering my own activation, I could see it coming, so I told him to look it up on the Internet, but he didn't do that until after he had the classic aawakening, by which I mean the sensation of hot energy traveling up his spine. His variation on that was that it turned cool at heart level, and continued cool and went down to his fingertips, then returned down the spine turning hot again at heart level. You can see why I might be thinking, who am I to have had any involvement in this? I appreciate your wisdom about the universality of little K love events every day. K love, Grandmapoethealer
