Guest guest
Dear all, I have been considering attachments lately. One current attachment is to my aging cat, Sabrina. She has been having some vomiting episodes lately and I feel this deep sadness of her eventual death. I took her to the vet yesterday & am waiting for her to call me - it could be either an irritable bowel thing or kidney decline. She is 17 years old. I got her from the Humane Society; the sign on her cage said " biter " -- someone had tried to drown her and being the good psychologist that I am, thought, I can help her. Other attachments are to my family. My dad and sister are intermittently drinking in the face of near death experiences in the past two years. Its really facing that we're all on our journey & to just love them for who they are. In Alanon they have this saying that others have the right not to recover. I'm feeling subtle movements from the shaktipat. During my meditation this morning i thought of a client i'm seeing, a nun that gave me a card saying that I was in her prayers. she is in a convent and prays 5-7 hours a day (although she says really they live their prayers). I just felt this deep love for her. enough rambling for now. I'm flying out in the morning to Michigan. I'll go to my AA meeting Christmas morning to pick up my 18 year coin. I appreciate the AA fellowship alot these days. The first two people who shared with me about kundalini before my own experiences were in AA. Love and blessings to you all and a Merry Christmas. ho ho ho, Jan

Guest guest
 Dear Jan: First: Congratulations on your 18 year coin! Second: Great news regarding your cat; you are preparing to let go, which is wise since she is 17, but it sounds like you'll have her for a while yet. And lastly, have a beautiful Christmaswith your family in Michigan- Peace and Love  Diane     -- On Wed, 12/23/09, yogijan <drjandean wrote: yogijan <drjandean re: attachments and check-in Wednesday, December 23, 2009, 8:05 AM  Dear all, I have been considering attachments lately.
