Guest guest
There seems to be a pretty general consensus that the 3rd chakra is in the solar plexus, meaning above the belly button but below the rib cage. I definitely experience it as peripherally circulating energy through this area, but that it is actually located on the spinal column pretty far down, with the vortex projecting forward centered about 2 inches below the belly button, and that the 2nd chakra is located almost exactly next to the 1st on the spinal column, but projecting forward (and back) through the genital area as opposed to down into the ground (with no " other end " ) as is the case with the 1st. There is definitely an energy center in the solar plexus, but it doesn't seem like that's the chakra everyone is referring to as the 3rd. I can't help but wonder if (what I am perceiving as a) misplacement of the 3rd chakra is really about western culture's current view on raw power as an inherrent evil, rather than merely raw potential that can be used for any purpose or motivation, and trying to in effect neuter it as a result of our current perception of power as inherrently wrong. Does anyone else have any thoughts on this? Of all the chakras, this one seems to be one of the most important, ie. the real energy center of your whole system, and at the same time the most murkily defined here and in almost all systems in terms of what actually stimulates and causes this chakra to fully open and flow massively. Any thoughts? Thanks, Jeffrey
Guest guest
Hi Jeffery, I don't understand what you are meaning about the projecting part. From the the website Maggie posted recently... " Denise Linn's website " these are the problems one can have if it is not functioning correctly: Indecisiveness Fear Lack of self-esteem Lack of focus Insecurity Feeling timid Feeling closed off from others Bravado rather than confidence Mental confusion Feel that others control you Problems sticking to your decisions Overly optimistic Overly pessimistic or dour No intuition Lack of confidence No personal boundaries Closed off from others Lack of personal control And physical health problems regarding: Solar Plexus Large intestine Stomach Liver Gall Bladder Diaphragm Muscles Digestive System Pancreas Going by this list I am having problems with it, especially this month I have been very indecisive (the first item on the list) and some of the others as well. I think my energy gets stuck there alot which may be the cause of my digestive problems. This morning I woke up feeling a release from a lot those symptoms listed. I feel great today, with lot of energy, but I am not having any pulsations or tinglings or any phenomena at all, except I think I had an entity visit about an hour ago, but I just ingored it and went on about my morning. Hehe! This entity likes to make things fall off my walls. I woke up this morning very talkative, which is not like me at all. I am not that much of a talkative person at all, especially in the morning. I could not get myself to shut up. Hehe! Guest guest
Hi Jeffery, I've asked myself the same questions. I feel energy centers in both locations as well. Your experience is very similar to the Chakra locations described in the book " Kundalini Tantra " by Swami Satyananda Saraswati. He places Manipura at the navel. In Chinese Traditions, it is said that the " lower Dan Tien " is slightly below the navel, although some believe that the closer one gets to the equator the closer the energy center will move towards the navel. I imagine that there are other variables involved as well. The lower Dan Tien " is considered a place where massive energy is stored. But this energy is to be transmuted into the other energy centers. Zach
