Guest guest
I have a question. I just listened to chrism's interviews (very enlightening, by the way, thank you for sharing. ) and I wonder about the symbolism of the spider. I noticed it was mentioned that sometimes instead of snake dreams there might be spider dreams. Before my initial experiences, I had a spider dream. It was odd because I had just fallen asleep only minutes before, according to my clock after I woke up. Anyway, this giant red spider, probably bigger than a tarantula, came into my bedroom. I saw it crawling on the floor, and I wasn't scared of it at first. I just thought, " it isn't going to do anything. " (of course, this was not the case.) When it crawled off to where I couldn't see it, it picked up two other spiders along the way, which when it came back, were on its back, smaller, black, but the same type of spider I guess. Well, now I was scared, because it was crawling up the bed, and there were two more spiders with it. (My guess is this would represent the trinity.) Anyway it makes it onto the bed, and the arachnophobiac in me starts screaming, which wakes up my boyfriend and suddenly he is screaming, and since he screamed I was convinced he saw the spider and I jumped out of bed taking the cover with me and suddenly both of us are standing next to the bed and he thinks someone must be breaking into the house and I am trying to tell him about this spider. Needless to say it was a somewhat embarrassing moment. I know some of the mythology surrounding the spider but how does it relate to kundalini? Guest guest
Yes I have also seen the giant spider and it was in conjunction with the Kundalini process and at about the same stage of wakefulness though perhaps a bit more awake than what you describe. They are quite large as spiders go lol! They, like the serpent, are part of the divine weave. The web of life. And they resonate with the Kundalini awakening person as part of the symbolism that often accompanies the the early process of building the divine energetic structure. Part of this is the fear test which at the time I failed miserably! And part of it is to understand that patience and surrender and trust and preparation can go a long ways towards the development of the Kundalini and its maturation within the person. This can be seen in many species of spider building (preparation) a web and trusting and having the patience that something will fly into it. Surrendering to that equation inside of a survival scenario. I am given a vision right now of the Hindu gods and Goddesses and how they are seen very much in the view of spiders with the many arms and legs. How this aspect helped the ancient Hindu come into that expression though I feel there is another more accepted version for that phenomena in wider acceptance among the contemporary Hindu. The Dine' people (Navajo) see her as the divine weaver woman and she is a Goddess among their culture and this is replicated in many other Earth friendly cultures around the globe. The Spider carries a venom as does the serpent and in some of the ancient cultures this venom was used as a curative application. This can be seen as the healing aspect of the spider just like Kundalini has the many (legged) healing aspects. Like the serpent there are too many symbolic and compressed meanings to the spider and its relationship to the Kundalini and many a book could be written in this regard. I hope my small venture into this web is at least a little bit of help for you! - blessings -chrism
Guest guest
Sounds like the same red spider that jumped out of the tree and latched onto my arm. Right where I had the cancer removed. I tried pry it off with a stick, but it would not get off. I screamed for my daughter to help, but she and James just stood there looking, and neither one helped me. So I woke up. I think it was bitting me, but there was no pain. Linda , " rachel_rounsavall " <rachel_rounsavall wrote: > > I have a question.
