I just wanted to say to Scott and Tara that my heart goes out to both of

you. I can relate to the feelings of isolation, paralysis, etc.

You have now found your way to a place where you no longer need to be

afraid. This is a beautiful group of people who can help you to transform your

entire perception of what is happening from a place of fear to a place of

wonder.

We get caught in these loops where the symptoms create fear and the fear

makes the symptoms worse. I understand these loops very well. But it is true

what says - that resistance makes it worse and surrender makes it better.

I was relieved to find that there was another way to look at what was happening.

I believe that people who have faced life's most difficult challenges have the

opportunity to build extraordinary character.

I have been reading Gopi Krishna's book, " Living With Kundalini, " the past

few days. I found a couple of quotes that I thought I would post because I can

so clearly see these characteristics in the people in this group. You have

heard from several of them already.

Page 109: Concern for others is the basic factor for all charitable and

benevolent acts. Placing oneself in the shoes of others to have a correct

picture of the sorrows, suffering, or needs has been the basis of all the reform

movements that took place in social, political or religious fields. I believe

that these two virtues are the first prerequisites in those who aspire to

spiritual illumination.

Page 115: A glance at the lives of all great mystics of the past, both of

the East and the West, is enough to convince us that all of them, without

exception, can be included in one broad pattern of life, the main

characteristics of which can be summed up thus: an insatiable thirst for

knowledge of God, a constant preoccupation with the mystery of creation, absence

of greed and ambition, detachment for the world, austerity, humility,

truthfulness, simplicity, compassion, charity, and love of fellow beings.
