Guest guest
I would like to write about the left sciatic nerve. I am doing this because I have noted that sciatic nerve pain crops up on and off in the forum. I would like to share my own experience of sciatic nerve pain and activity and perhaps it may help those who are going through it. Sciatic pain has given me great trouble in the past. It is very very painful and can be very debilitating. It affects walking and moving and the first reaction to sciatic nerve pain is often anguish if one has experienced it previously as one knows what one is facing into again!! Over the years this experience has changed for me as I came to know that kundalini can give body pain in many areas as she wants us to pay attention! Before I knew about kundalini I had sciatic pain and lots of other pains that I came to realise these pains and symptoms were Kundalini related. Now I very much see " happenings " on the sciatic nerve in the same light as I see " happenings " on the kidneys or the nostrils or the ears or the pelvis,or anywhere in the body, all work of Kunndalini. the sciatic nerve is a difficult one to surrender to as it can be very painful. I eventually learned that if I lay down and surrendered to the work being done and was able to allow the pain absolutly, not resist the pain or wish it would go, but almost become the pain or at leas embrace it unencumbered, then Kundalini often did her own osteopathic treatment on me and clicked and clunked and fizzed that whole nerve and leg. As time passed and as I became more able to surrender to the physical work Kundalini often did on me She became the ostheopoath supreme. I am writing this because I have experienced much " action " in the sciatic nerve over time and again recently. I now think my sciatic nerve is a pathway of kunddalini. I have felt her travel and coil " around " my left leg and also travel " in " my left leg from the toe and underneath of the foot right up to the buttock. During meditation while lying down my left leg has become an area that kundalini has definitly being working on, it can become numb and very weighted and unbelievably heavy, K moves and infulses on and in the leg and sciatic nerve , right up to my pelvis. My left sciatic nerve is humming and fizzing at the moment and I can still feel the vibration and the fizz and some nips and bites right into the sciatic neerve that reaches into my buttock. there is none of the typical sciatic nerve pain now although the sciatic nerve is definitly involved as I can feel its lenght and positioning. I just wanted to share my experience of this as I have not read of anyone else writing about the sciatic nerve in particular and it may help perhaps some who are having experiences in their left sciatic nerve. As I said above, I have noticed since I came to KAS many folks mention sciatic nerve, It might be interesting to see if others can comment on whether this is perhaps a common " symptom " of kundalini activity ??? love Julia
Guest guest
Hi, In my previous email i had described some of the experiences related to sciatica and kundalini. The pain or the uneasiness which was there seems to go when i did some walking and hill climbing. Maybe this activity caused earthing to occur and might have released the pain. Guest guest
Hi Julia, I slipped a disc a few years ago from running and had sciatic pain on my right side for a while...it was before full awakening of K (before I had spinal sweeps) ., howevever i was having subtle energy movements and i was having a lot of real snakes come into my presence at the time, so it may have been K. related.. Scaiatic pain would be base chakra, wouldnt it? to do with security, money, survival and connection to family? I found hatha yoga was very helpful to balance and align the body, especially doing sun salutations (around 8 of them) and holding each position for a few breaths. It was really important to keep the lower part of the spine straight on the forward bends, and best done with a yoga teacher who understands injuries... love Bruce , Julia Ahern <jajahern wrote: > > > > > I would like to write about the left sciatic nerve. Guest guest
Yeah have had a lot of sciatic nerve pain over the years, more in my right leg though. I relate to the experinces of letting the kundlini move through it and the numbness etc. I think also it might be partly due to one of my legs being longer than the other. Sometimes I feel the enrgy wants the body to be balanced out so like a kind of chi energy it can flow through all the body parts in a balanced way. Sometimes I feel as if that is what it doing. Other times I feel as if it is something to with the ida and the pingala, the energy of the night and day that moves around the channels around the sushumna that carries the kundalini energy up the spinal column? Sometimes doing pranayamas I experience some shift. Clicks and craks are an everyday reality for me and tingles in my leg and feelings of numbness I can totally relate to as well. Up and down the whole leg. Guest guest
James, Things that help me with sciatic pain as well as back pain include hatha yoga, tai chi, and the 5 Tibetans. Also, if you spend a lot of time in a chair during the day, get up every hour or so and do some stretching and/or take a short walk - don't let the body sit in a chair for too long without some movement. Love and blessings, David

Guest guest
If anyone is interested or has similar problems with this - I know I do, my legs are almost always sore - I have a video I can upload to the site, called Yoga for the Sciatic Nerve. It's about an hour long and can be gruelling, but even doing the first 15-20 minutes will really stretch and release the tension in the muscles affected by this nerve. Hope everyone had a great New Year's! I'm just sad vacation is over. , James Crompton <james_crompton wrote: > > Thanks for that.
