Guest guest
Dear KAS1 Sisters and Brothers: Thank you Jennifer and Carla for you response regarding monthly donations for Chrism. For Jennifer and any others who aren't aware of how to donate: Go to the KAS1 group site home page and scroll down the page and you will see a DONATE button to click. You can donate through PayPal, or use a credit card or bank account to make your donation. I use PayPal which is quick and easy. Carla asked about a monthly reminder: If you would be willing to do the reminding Carla that would be great, but I personally feel that gratitude should be it's own reminder, or that we could each put it on our calander for a specific day of the month that is convenient, when we usually pay our bills. I like to donate at the beginning of the month, but the date doesn't matter; what matters is that we do it on a consistant basis, so that Chrism's needs are met and he can count on the funds being provided for him. If out of necessity he is forced to start charging, to be able to take care of his needs, that might mean that some of us wouldn't be able to benefit from his knowledge, experience and gifts if we weren't able to afford a monthly fee to access the web site. So I think we need to stop taking his help for granted and do what is right for this generous Teacher of ours. Thanks for doing what's right; donations don't have to be large if we all take part and are consistant every month. Guest guest
Diane, Carla and Jennifer: Thank you Thank you Thank you for sharing your thoughts and concerns for the welfare of our teacher. A few of us have posted in the past pointing out the needs and reminding all of the showing of gratitude. I like the idea of a pledge or a monthly giving. Danielle had suggested a " giving tree " where one does put aside $ that would normally be spent such as your Starbucks coffee and then sending this as a gift. A pledging as mentioned by Carla is a wonderful idea to remind us because in the past there would be some donation activity and then we tend to forget except for those of us who understand the importance of a regular gifting. Carla, perhaps you can discuss with Diane how to set up a pledge system. People like privacy. Yet perhaps some will allow a personal email to be sent to them. We can also do a monthly reminder here. I can do that if you want. If you want to run any ideas by me you are welcome. chrism is sensitive to all members and does not wish for anyone to feel they can not receive if they can not give. Never will there be any withholding of services because one does not have the means to make a donation. *************************************************************** " A Promise No one will be turned away or ignored in this community for the lack of material gifts. There is much more going on with this site and its members than meets the eye or the mental ability to grasp or discern. Everyone is seen even those who lurk. Everyone who is here is given to in the way that is best received by them. These are gifts outside of the Shaktipat. This community is embedded with Shakti Kundalini/Holy Mother and SHE streams into your eyes when you access this group. In this holy presence are you recognized. - blessings. - chrism " ************************************************************** You can send to chrism at this address: Chris Mitchell PO Box 2663 Santa Rosa, CA 95405 or use the Paypal account here is the link to the home page of this site scroll to the bottom of the page to the donate button / chrism has a bank account so you can write a check payable to him or send a money order. chrism can not ethically respond to any post regarding donations. He can and will respond in gratitude to all gifts. Thank you Diane, Carla and Jennifer... Blessings... e
Guest guest
hi Diane, I am more than happy to join you in a monthly 5 dollar donation love bruce , Diane Baugh <cdgbdronningen wrote: > > Dear KAS1 Sisters and Brothers: I have something on my heart and mind that I want to share with you. I was fortunate to be able to attend the Winter Seminar this past December, and during lunch one of the days I heard say that he had gone to a casino before the seminar to gamble, in order to win enough money to take care of some work on his teeth that needed to be done. Fortunately, he did win what was necessary to cover the needed work, but what bothers me is that he had to resort to that to get dental work done. > > gives unstintingly of himself and his gifts and wisdom without ever asking anything in return. The only charge is for seminar attendance, and that probably barely covers the cost of the venue. We all know he lives extremely frugally, probably on less fiances than many of us do, yet each and everyone of us has benefited from this website and his > personal experience with kundalini: he gives without ever charging, and each of us receive willingly from him over and over, without reciprocating except with a heart-felt " Thank you. " . It is important to express our gratitude verbally, but we need to do more for our beloved Teacher; we need to help in a practical way by giving a donation of money. If each of us (900+ now) gave only $5.00 a month, that would add up to $4500.00 per month or $54,000.00 per year. This is only a decent income for someone who has made such a huge difference in our lives! There are some of us who might have ended our lives if we hadn't been helped by Chrism! And that help has never been connected to a price! I for one have looked at how I spend my disposable income, and I realize that by just eliminating just one speciality coffee at Starbucks per month or one movie a month will enable me to give those $5.00 to my beloved Teacher who has given so much to me. > Will each of you pray about joining me in giving at a minimum of $5.00 monthly or more if you are able? I promise you, you will be so blessed by doing so: As a Christian who believes the promises of the Bible, I am going to include just a few scriptures about giving whose promises I can tell you from past experience have proven true in my life: > > " Freely you have received, freely give. " Matthew 10:8 > > " Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. " Luke 6:38 > > Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Corinthians 9:7 > > A gift opens the way for the giver and ushers him into the presence of the great. > Proverbs 18:16 > > Thank you my sisters and brothers for seriously considering the welfare of our beloved Chrism; I know you will do the right thing. > > Gratitude and Love Diane > > > > >
Guest guest
I think Carla's idea of a monthly pledge is great. I have set a monthly intent for myself, but sometimes I send it several months at one time. It depends on how the money comes in for us, some months are slow and others we have an abundance. So if I miss a month, I send two or three months worth at a time when the money is good. I will tried to be more regular with the sending. the last part of your post would be good to use with the monthly reminder in my opinion. Thank you Diane for bringing this up. Love and Blessings, Linda , " " . wrote: >
Guest guest
This showed up today in a daily email that comes to me... Appreciation " When something does not insist on being noticed, when we aren't grabbed by the collar or struck on the skull by a presence or an event, we take for granted the very things that most deserve our gratitude. " , I like your idea of sending an email out to the whole list, for then it becomes a reminder for everyone that an exchange is occurring on a regular basis (and not that it has to happen for everyone). The disadvantage to a personal monthly reminder is that no one else is aware of the pledges/exchange. Guest guest
Not the easiest of topics! Many opinions and thoughts about this one... I'll offer some of mine too. I think a reminder list to donate to is a fine idea, however sending out emails to those who have not asked to be on this list doesn't sound so great to me. For those who wish a monthly reminder to be sent to them, it sounds great. Count me in on it too! I for one took many years to find Chrism. I read many books, tried many spiritual paths, went to seminars, learned types of healing, etc, etc... I'm sure many of us have and many many of us still will go to other places on our paths. I'm not saying I will never pick up a book from someone else or listen to the words of another teacher, however most of the answers I need are provided for me here. I am finding more and more these days that the practice has laid out for us with the Safeties is enough, it is what I need at this time. There is a lot to work on there, a lot of refinement to do. And as we awaken into the Kundalini our own inner guidance and that from our Kundalini will add even more to this! We go within... Add to that Chrism's posts here and the sharing that is done... It is alot to do, a lot to work on, to read, to digest. Yes, many teachers out there will charge a lot for seminars, books, teachings, and especially their own personal time helping students through counselling or 'sessions'. It is so very important I feel that is teaching the way he is teaching withough charging and being 'commercial' in the offering of these services. All are given to with love and without expectation. I for my part will give and serve in return however I can. And I encourage all who value his gifts and services to us to also do the same for him. That being said, I hope no newbies who are just tuning into our group think that all we do is beg for money for Chrism! Please stay a while, partake of the gifts and love and blessings being given here. Grow with the Kundalini and begin your awakening! Follow the safeties and move into a new vibrational level of being. And if you come to value what is offered here by Chrism, at that time reach out and help as you can. Chrism has given much to be here to serve us. He spends much of his day (and nights) helping students online, talking and speaking with them, writing and replying to them and sometimes in person as well. this is what he does, and it is a very good thing to many awakening that he is here and available to serve them in this way. He recently helped me with a close friend of mine who was having a very serious health issue, taking the time to help this friend of mine who was a total stranger to (not to mention on the other side of the planet!). Thank you teacher! And thank you all for taking your time to read this post and to think about and consider these issues. much love to all, bradly
