Guest guest
I like these little poetic sound bites. But I also don't want to misconstrue sentiment for authenticity. What I am finding is that I can somehow extend myself through out a room so that looking back into it I get a strong stimulus. I do this at a dance event which I have started to attend again. It takes a while to build it up. I pass out blessings with the idea that the recipient will then anchor into the room what I am stirring up. I go around fluffing up different area that seem to me kind of flat. When I get it all worked up I can look back into the space and it wows me. Nothing is visually different but it becomes amazing to look into. There is a sense of claiming domain in this. Maybe this has to do with allowing myself permission to do what I do with no sense of purposefulness in it. That is where ever I do this has to be the right place and the right thing to do as I have to hold no judgement about it as it is not based on a preconceived notion but on surrender. So in a way I feel this is an exercise in claiming sacred domain, the sacred part being in the transformation of my perception. Then comes the bliss, tears, gratitude, bewilderment. The bewilderment is essential. The shaking of the head is an opening to great heights. I want to do more with this as art performance and ceremony. I don't want to get to pretentious about it though as I do not understand it really. I do not know what I am affecting externally, but I do know I have the experience of a transformation of the external, and this is where I can hold my import. Perhaps it is an event where I can find and claim the sacred while others witness that it is possible to do this through my example. And maybe this can have an affect on others perceptive abilities. I can say the sacred is there because sometimes I am fortunate enough to see it, whatever it may be. I like the sense of home coming that comes with this too. But intellectually I cannot justify it. I am just as ornery as ever. So intellectually I can more comfortably say that the sense of home coming is an after image. When the illusion of being separate is challenged and dispelled, then it seems as if there is a return. But it is a mental response to the void left from the diminution of the lingering illusion of separation. Home coming is just as much as an illusion as being away from home. That's enough for now- Have a good dinner!! x _bret
Guest guest
Bret, This is beautiful. Thank you for the blessings and healing you bring. My frame of reference is Native ceremonies, where people gather, use drumming and singing and prayer to invite the spirits and join energy to balance the elements and bring healing to a person or a place or to the larger region or climate. You are like a walking, two-legged portable mini-ceremony injecting healing into smaller spaces. This is so beautiful. Thank you for what you do, and thank you for sharing it with us! Guest guest
Hi Shaz- To me it is an investigation. I know not if there is a benefit outside of myself. But I will keep doing it anyway. Thanks for loving response. Bret , " shaktiaz " <shaktiaz wrote: > > Bret, > > This is beautiful.
