Guest guest
Hi Andy, Namaste, I'm also a primary school teacher and understand what your saying. There's the fear losing control in front of them plus all the grownups you're working around. Well right there where you said your initial reaction is to freeze ...maybe relax a little more and enjoy the attention. And when you let this happen to you then you might experience some very playful and loving pranks that'll leave you in chagrin. Several of the posts this week at describe Shakti like this in detail. Or something else can manifest in a very safe way bringing you closer, effectively toward your hearts desire. As for not being able to have a quiet week...can i gently say your faithful preparation for the classroom work week in and week out are a huge gift of service. Most people know that a compassionate and wise teacher such as yourself is important to children more than ever. There isn't another person in their lives that they can see M- F and spend all the hours that they do with a teacher in just one week. You're probably in very good standing with Shakti - it seems to me that Love attracts Shakti..unselfishness draws Shakti...your Higher nature your Soul draws Shakti and happiness draws Shakti, lack of fear definitely attracts Shakti. There is so much humor you can find yourself in when we realize that we're only running from ourselves and the world we might have made up. I realised after having a few minor accidents last year (on vacation) that those and a few things that happened to me a while back, happened clearly out of any phenomena stage. It's neat that you chose teaching. Teaching in primary grades is very challenging work no matter whether you're in the best of places or not. It doesn't help " reading around " the internet, where you hear the horror stories and the worry police talking about how it will turn all but the most saintly guru into a gibbering wreck. My fear is especially present because of my job, being a primary school teacher I don't have the option to hide in a corner at work and have a " quiet " week. I'm stood in front of 32 children all day. Losing control in front of them would be unthinkable. The fear is deep down somewhere, but I know its there. Whenever I get any form of physical feeling that I associate with Kundalini my initial reaction is to freeze like a statue, as though any movement will result in me exploding into small pieces all over the carpet! I try to keep telling myself that whatever happens will happen for the best! lol _______________ Hotmail: Powerful Free email with security by Microsoft. http://clk.atdmt.com/GBL/go/196390710/direct/01/
Guest guest
Hi Linda I remember hearing the phrase " salt of the earth " being used to mean that the Christian man or woman is to be the salt of the earth. Grain of salt to me means use your own discernent and " got salt " reminds me of the " got milk " ads.
