Guest guest
Mmm, I was thinking of verses 4-7: Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Peace, Shaz , zinnia print <zinniaprint wrote: > > > Hi Shaz > Namaste, > Thank you that's a very gracious thing to say and a neat connection. The Phillips Translation goes like this: > If I speak with the eloquence of men and angels, but have no love I become no more than a clanging cymbol. If I have the gift of foretelling the future and holding in my mind not only all human knowledge but the very secrets of God, and if I also have that absolute faith which can move mountains, but have no Love, I amount to nothing at all. If I dispose of all that I possess, yes, even if I give my own body to be burned, but have no Love, I achieve precisely nothing. > 1 Cor 13:1, 2, & 4 > Peace indeed
