Hi,

I was wondering about the difference between these two types of awakening.

It seems like with some spiritual disciplines awaken the K more gently and

others show more signs of energy movements and phenomena . in my case, I

haven't had a full-blown awakening, more a very slow and gentle one. Even

though I do feel what I would call " bliss " when I'm praying, it seems to be

a certain difference compared to what I hear other people describe in their

experience. Not that I'd love to get all types of awakening symptoms, but

how's the experience for people in this group participating in the shaktipat

Chrism gives? It may seem like the experience varies very much from person

to person with some people not even noticing any energy rushes or unusual

phenomena, while others are like overwhelmed with too much of it . I would

appreciate your thoughts on this and would like to get some info. About what

my experience may be joining the shaktipat gives.

Thanks for your attention !!

Hi Jonas,

You might find it helpful to look back at the posts around the time of the

shaktipat. although that said I cannot say for sure that experiences of

shaktipat are posted as soon as they occur!  everyone experiences shakipat as

they are to experience it, as you so rightly say, the experiences vary and are

not uniform.

There is no real knowing before hand what your experience of shaktipat may or

may not be.  Again that said, chrisms shaktipat  is directly related to the

practice of the safeities and this practice regulates what is given.

I hope that last sentence is expressed correctly if not will someone please

clarify!

Love julia
