Guest guest
debs, hey! and hey to all the rest of you too.. I'm here, living life quite full! I just came home form a beautiful 2 weeks " baby sitting " a house... the most beautiful house... a tiny little handmade thing a restructured country house, with goats, sheep, dogs and cats to tend to... it was not accessible by car, only a little path in the woods. wood stove, no hot water, no shower, small solar panels for light. I think I have found my calling LOL! got to set to work to find a way. the PEACE there! I've never experienced such. I love the sheep well, that's what I've been up to... now I'm absorbing the shock of being back.. love, lucia , " flowerpowers7777 " <flowerpowers7777 wrote: > > > Lurkers - come out and play - Boo > > debs (mia d now ) (: >
Guest guest
How beautiful it sounds-to experience simplicity and nature brings one home. WE are so often on a treadmill in life - it is difficult to stop and see what the universe has to offer. YOu have one business now start another - be that entrepreneur that makes it work. You are young and have so many opportunities to try and do anything you desire - Happy you had a great house sitting. e
Guest guest
Hi Lucia Lucia Lucia! So happy to hear from you and what a great experience. Sounds like my way to live too! Except I sorta have a thing for hot water and a shower! ha But the peace...YES! Hey Lucia look up alternative housing on youtube. You will see all sorts of different living...althernative living. Like earthships, and cobb homes and earthbag homes...all off the grid yet many can have power from solar, wind, the earthships are completely powered althernatively - I'm sure the rest can be too. I love watching them build those earthbag houses and cobb...especially off in nature. So...Go Lucia Go! Thats my dream too! Lots of love and chi balls - funny I just asked and you answered. Perfect timing! Debs (Mia D) , " lari.lu " <lari.lu wrote: >
Guest guest
Oh Lucia, so baaah baaah beautiful and seems like such to perfect fit with your spirit in description. It makes me all dreamy. I hope the homeowners don't mind if I dwell here for the day...in thought anyway. Hugs to you. -Danielle , " lari.lu " <lari.lu wrote: >> I think I have found my calling LOL! got to set to work to find a way. > > the PEACE there! Guest guest
oh it was nice! a big hug to you danielle. debs, no hot water in the pipes, but the big coocking stove would produce a LOT of water by just putting pots to warm on it... one day the water was running low (it is tapped from a natural spring, if you used to much it would run out) but it had snowed tons.... guess what? we used the fresh fallen snow, melted it in the pots and took a bath in a big tub in the warm kitchen what I loved is dicovering that little comforts does not mean uncomfterble... there is something about keeping it simple that just brings the whole body to a slower easyer pace... it no longer is about getting it done so I can get to something else... everything gets so full of meaning, even just having a shower or cooking a meal.. it feels so good.. I've checked out those earthbag houses, they are great! hugs ladies! lucia , " iamwaitingmoon " <iamwaitingmoon wrote:
