Guest guest
I thought I would share a message from Whitehawk from the book Kundalini Rising that I really liked: " You are being cleansed of everything you think you are, so you can finally become what you really are. May your journey be blessed. " GCDeb
Guest guest
Thank you for sharing this quote and book! Love it! I did a quick search on Amazon and couldn't find the book by Whitehawk. Is it on Amazon or found somewhere else? Guest guest
Hey Maggie - each chapter is a story from someone - I think there are 24 different stories. Whitehawk was one chapter. I am not at home right now, but there were 4 or 5 authors and Ken Wilbur was one of them. The cover is red with a white stripe in the middle. I ordered it from Amazon. If you need more info, I will look it up when I get home. It is a very interesting book. GCDeb Thank you for sharing this quote and book! Love it! Guest guest
Thanks Deb, a great quotation from a very good book that, as you say, covers Kundalini from many angles - particularly useful for anyone curious about Kundalini's impact on changes in brain activity (all good news !!), much comment on Kundalini Yoga, discussions on the chakras, Kundalini's thrust in expanding one's personal spirituality, K experiences in various cultures, and studies of the connection between Near Death Experiences and Kundalini awakening - just to mention a few topics. Aside from Ken Wilbur and Whitehawk, Bonny Greenwell also makes a great contribution. There are many references to Jung, Gopi Krishna and Bentov. While there are plenty of acknowledgements in the book of the need for a shroud of love, surrender and self-nurture to envelop the emerging K, the book does seem incomplete insofar as very few (if any) of the authors talk of the need for protections as, for example, listed in Chrism's Safeties. This, to me, is its most disappointing omission; otherwise excellent insights, great value for money (it's a cheap paperback) and I seem to recall that Amazon gives many reader reviews on its book display page. Deb, I've added " Kundalini Rising " to Selena's KAS-1 " Book's We Like " Database. Thanks so much for your posting. Love - John. ------------------------------- GCDeb wrote of " Kundalini Rising " : " ...each chapter is a story from someone - I think there are 24 different stories.
