Guest guest
Dear Danielle: IMHO your dream is a universal dream with meaning we can all relate to: As I see it, this is a dream about the cycle of Life: The Tree represents the Tree of Life. In the first part of the dream it is without leaves because it is representing the ending cycle of life . The 13 moons also add weight to the idea that the dream is about the cycle of life, since the moon is cyclic in it's phases. The Creek represents the River of Life. The 13 souls passed on have completed their cycle and as they are encased in the tears of the tree will soon drop into the Creek, the River of Life, to begin the cycle again. The reflection of the Tree in the water has leaves suggesting the cycle beginning again, but the 13 Crows await to clean up the carrion of Death, before Life can begin anew. I also think the Tree is weeping in sorrow over the agony of mankind, the suffering of humanity. What do you think Danielle? Does this resonate with you? Please let me know what you think. Peace and Love Diane
Guest guest
Throughout my k experience I have experienced a deep grief for the earth and her children. There was a time a few years ago when K was just awakening and I would fall to my knees in a most profound grief over the universe. I remember one time being at a car repair shoppe and bursting into tears, feeling a grief so profound about the earth. The Tree of Life is a reoccuring theme in everything I do; the essence above as so below and the Center; nature is where I experience the Divine. I had a dream the other night- the time of Haiti's quake, which went something like this...Daughter of Earth Mother and Father Sky do not faulter, time does not stand still; follow your path along the creek side, and do not hide your eyes from her slaughter; she is becoming ill. Then I had a visual of the earth and the various continents with the animals becoming extinct, the water polluted and trees tumbling; her suffering. I think your take on the dream in beautiful. The cycle and circle of life holds much meaning within my personal and k experience. Thank you Diane for sharing of this with me; it's all very meaningful. Love & Peace. Guest guest
Has anyone seen the movie Avatar? There is a tree of life in the movie that sounds like Danielle's. I don't care for too many mainstream movies, but I liked this one. I had a huge release after the movie, of leaving my old life behind and being " reborn " for my new life. Guest guest
I was able to catch the movie with another KAS member which was such a blessing...to be able to view this movie from a similar light. The " shock " hit me after I stepped away from the theatre into the hustling and bustling mall, jib jab on cell phones and all, and my tears started to pour. Without clogging up the post, this particular dream was a blending of past life " memories " for me; the Willow tree, creek, the water, (always the water, always a tree)comes up over and over across many lifetimes. So, I find it a bit interesting that the theme, if it is about the tree of life and humanity, keeps resurfacing, from different angles or views, over and over, across cultures, throughout lifespans, upon different continents etc. I just know it hits deep and right to my core. Guest guest
Oh yes Danielle. I won't go into clog up this post either , but I can fully relate to the shock of hitting the " normal " world. I walked out of the movie feeling dazed with the emotions welling up. I couldn't leave the theater fast enough and the tears started. An hour later I felt much better. I read about the origins of the tree of life a few years ago and it sounded so right. But I am sorry I cannot articulate/remember fully what I read. It had to do with the origins of life... it was beautiful. Guest guest
Hi Danielle and the other Kundalites, I have not yet seen the movie Avatar, but intend to rent it once its on DVD. I have read a lot about it and there seems to be a consensus among 'ordinary' folk that this is a mind changing film. People who had never been interested in spiritual and moral issues are now thinking again about the way we treat each other, strangers and our planet. This is a good thing. No amount of books, preaching by religious leaders or other speeches could have had the same effect on as a human race. A similar thing occurred after the Matrix movies were released, and the new interest in Star Wars with the resulting Jedi faith. It will take time to de-programme everyone, and will take many generations for old beliefs to die out, but the more films they make in this Genre the better for all of humanity. Guest guest
Hi Iona, you really should go see this one at the theater and pay the little extra to watch the 3D version of it. You will be missing a lot if you don't. It is super great! I think it is probably the best movie I have ever seen. The second runner up for me is " the last Mimzy " . I loved that one too. Guest guest
I agree with Linda, try and see it in a theater Iona, the 3D effect is much better then it was 20 years ago. The Last Mimzy is one of my favorites as well Linda, along with Stardust.
