Sea dream

Dear and friends,

I went to sleep thinking of the scorpion, and found myself at a seaside place

watching the sea. There were many people here. It was midday, but the sky went

dark as night. The sea went very dark black and ceased all of its movement; it

became as still as a lake. I could still see the shadows of people. Everyone was

swimming in the sea and I felt worried. I was also in the sea, drinking from a

green cup. I felt a slight movement of waves beginning to return, and I shouted

at everyone to get out of the water as quickly as possible. They did, and

everyone began a rush to get their children and families and friends out and up

the steps leading into the sea. There was a building with levels that looked

like platforms, and people climbed up and looked down at the sea from these

platforms. I was still holding onto the green cup. The dark shadow had passed

and it was sunny daylight once more. We looked down at the sea, and from a far

away distance a great wall of waves was coming, immensely powerful. It crashed

into the stairs, flooded the lower levels and then receded carrying with it

everything that had been on those levels. The sea was churning up and foaming.

I've often had water dreams, but I've never seen the darkness like this before.

Love, Sandra

Hi Sandra,

what comes to mind reading your dream (and this is simply my perspective which

may or may not resonate), is the black sea is Shiva, pure Spirit, Male,

unmoving. After the shadow has passed, the sea has become Shakti, feminine,

moving. Shiva and Shakti are two primordial aspects of Spirit which coexist, the

manifest and the unmanifest. Powerful waves coming from the sea towards the

shore are classic kundalini, and the lower levels being cleaned out could

symbolize lower chakras being purified...
