I've had the same thing, sometimes I get into moods that seem so foreign that I wonder " is this really me? " Lately I'm impatient, get angry about stupid stuff--both these the opposite of what I've been most of my life up until now. It's a rollercoaster, for sure. I'm hoping this anger and impatience is temporary, I don't like it or myself much when I'm in the throes of these emotions! So NOT what I want to be. Ugly. Yes, 1 step forward and 2 steps back. That's how it feels. But if in the end, it means I'm coming up just a bit more...then I'll keep on rolling. At least I'm on this rollercoaster with this bunch. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!
