Guest guest
This is a good one, thought i should share... BUTTERFLY A man found a cocoon of a butterfly. One day a small opening appeared. He sat and watched the butterfly for several hours as it struggled to force its body through that little hole. Then it seemed to stop making any progress. It appeared as if it had gotten as far as it could, and it could go no further. So the man decided to help the butterfly. He took a pair of scissors and snipped off the remaining bit of the cocoon. The butterfly then emerged easily. But it had a swollen body and small, shriveled wings. The man continued to watch the butterfly because he expected that, at any moment, the wings would enlarge and expand to be able to support the body, which would contract in time. Neither happened! In fact, the butterfly spent the rest of its life crawling around with a swollen body and shriveled wings. It never was able to fly. What the man, in his kindness and haste, did not understand was that the restricting cocoon and the struggle required for the butterfly to get through the tiny opening were God's way of forcing fluid from the body of the butterfly into its wings so that it would be ready for flight once it achieved its freedom from the cocoon. Sometimes struggles are exactly what we need in our lives. If God allowed us to go through our lives without any obstacles, it would cripple us. We would not be as strong as what we could have been. We could never fly! I asked for Strength......... And God gave me Difficulties to make me strong. I asked for Wisdom......... And God gave me Problems to solve. I asked for Prosperity......... And God gave me Brainand Brawn to work. I asked for Courage......... And God gave me Danger to overcome. I asked for Love......... And God gave me Troubled people to help. I asked for Favors......... And God gave me Opportunities. I received nothing I wanted ........ I received everything I needed! Gonata2010! cha

Guest guest
Thank you so much for posting this - it is a wonderful reminder that surrendering is what allows the Divine to guide us. I needed these words today. Beautiful - a keeper for sure ... e
Guest guest
Hi Edgar: Oh my, beautiful butterfly-unable to flutter by. How my little heart pounds and I actually teared up (suprise suprise). My reaction is to want to intervene and cuddle up the little butterfly in a make-shift cocoon...wrap him/her up all snuggly warm and place him/her in a leaf cradle under the warm sun and sing it a lullaby. But I wonder if that would be any different to the whole lesson of the story. So in this story, would one intervene if the butterfly could return to a cocoon and experience its full development, or would you need to let it be and be of service to it in its created condition? My heart's natural response would be to wrap him/her up in a make-shift cocoon. How do you know when/if you are being of service or being of harm when all along your intention is out of care? Love & Butterfly wishes. ~Danielle , Edgar Alan Elango <Edgar_BNP wrote: > > This is a good one, thought i should share... > > BUTTERFLY > A man found a cocoon of a butterfly. Guest guest
Dear Danielle, How do you know when/if you are being of service or being of harm when all along your intention is out of care? Oh my! You've put me in quite a little bit of quandary. IMHO these are the times when we put our trust in our hearts. We ask for discernment from our beloved Ma Shakti, and let our feelings/intuition guide our way. Sometimes we have to give tough love for those whom we see  are needing our assistance but we know would be better off if we let them work their way out of the difficulties they put themselves in. Most parents are very familiar with these kinds of situations. In case of doubt just do what the heart is telling us, like in the case of giving to the homeless guy in th street, we dont know what he's gonna do with the money but our compassion for him just urges us to give. wl l*o*v*e, edgar Love & Butterfly wishes. ~Danielle Kundalini-Awakening -Systems- 1 , Edgar Alan Elango <Edgar_BNP@. ..> wrote: > > This is a good one, thought i should share... >  > BUTTERFLY > A man found a cocoon of a butterfly. Guest guest
Thank you for such a quick response. It has dawned on me that the original birth and the challenges that may come from its life circumstances does not define a final state of being. Snuggling within a cocoon, transforming and experiencing a new birth is not a one time process. This little cata-fly will transform once again, and possibly several times over, into a magnificent full-winged butterfly which will flutter by and oh so high. -See, just look over there...
