Tibetans Causing Heat?

Over the past couple of weeks I've been increasing the number of Tibetans I'm

doing - I'm only up to 10 reps each. The thing is, when I do them, I'm getting

extremely hot and sweaty by the end to the point that I'm forced to take a

shower afterwards. This is clearly not a muscular issue. I don't get this

sweaty after 10 minutes running or weight lifting..... anyone else have a

similar experience? Any thoughts or interpretations of this?

Thanks,

Jeffrey

Dear Jeffrey,

I used to do 5 Tibetians 21 rep 3 times a day, during sols and Shaktipat. It

will not harm you if you do feel hot or sweat. Now I am advised to do it only

once. You feel hot and sweat due to K activation, in my humble

opinion...........shrikant

Years ago, when I was just starting martial arts --we had a visiting Buddhist

Monk come to help us with meditation.

I noticed that as I got deeper into this--I started to sweat.

I thought I was doing something wrong until the monk told everyone that this may

happen in intense meditation.

I do feel warm sometimes with the Tibetans. It varies.

Hi Jeffrey,

I get a good sweat sometimes too! No worries I think. Keep building slowly to 21

reps.

If you can, go into your meditation after the Tibetans. Personally I do the

Alternate Nostril Breathing/ Compression prayer, then a meditation and some

prayer after the Tibetans.

If you must shower right away, keep your shower warm or hot I believe. The cold

water can wash away what may have been given to yourself in the Tibetans. There

is a micro-release of the Kundalini during these rites. Cold water can negate

this.

I am sure will correct me if I'm wrong on that one!

be well, bradly

Bradley,

Thanks for the response. I haven't been K-activated yet, but getting ready for

the equinox. I'll keep at it! I think your advice about not showering right

away sounds correct.

Thanks again,

Jeffrey
