All:

Wow. I sat in meditation today, the first time in a week or so without my mind

racing. It was the first time with some aspect of surrender since all of my

recent resistance. It was like the flood gates were opened, and my body was

rocked in Kriyas. (The middle of my back is quite achy).

My right arm tends to be a bit of a live wire-shaking and moving around. Shaking

it out, shaking it out, reaching up and then being placed in front of my heart

and mouth and forehead like in prayer. I ended in a pose again which had me

squatting, and my head bent down between my knees, my knees pressing against my

temples with equal pressure; my arms streched out infront of me, this time with

palms up and hands slightly cupped.

Can anyone share with me please the difference between the right and left side

if any. My left hand seems to be IN/receiving, and right seems to be OUT/giving

& releasing. I don't know if this is accurate or common, it just seems to be the

case for me during the Kriyas. I'm wondering if it is about blockages or if

there is something more common about it in what others experience too.

Danielle,

I suspect it will manifest uniquely for each individual, but I think that

generally left is considered yin, right is yang; left is cooling/lunar, right is

heating/solar. As yin, left would be receptive; as yang, right would be

outflowing.

Much love and blessings to you,

David

Hi Danielle,

thats great you are coming into clarity again.. a good breathing space :)

re left and right, I agree with David. The right side is generally masculine,

associated with doing, acting, sending energy out, clearing away obstacles, and

the left side is feminine, receptive, surrendering, listening...

Shakti/Shiva...now I remember... but I get all confused as I read this

" The right hemisphere, stimulated by left nostril dominance, is connected to

feminine, lunar, emotional, visual and more peaceful activities. The left

hemisphere, stimulated by right nostril dominance, is connected to masculine,

solar, rational verbal and more energetic activities. "

I struggle with dyslexia, so gosh help me. It's like me trying to play my bass

guitar which appears upside down in comparrison to the written staff. If I stand

on my head and walk backwards I can rattle and humm a few good notes. Perhaps if

you stated this to me opposite of its meaning I would comprehend. LOL. And just

when I thought I knew what I was talking about...

Wow, such a simple question has been quite the work out for my brain.

That's my hint to just surrender-Shakti vs having to know, and awe in the

experience of the Divine union and merging, the two that are One no matter if

I'm upside down, backwards, inside out, above or below.

Thank you.

Surrendering to my mind tangle and listening to my heart song.
