Pieces of dreams today - Linda

Hey Linda - cool dreams! I had a couple yesterday that were kind of

interesting too.

 

First, I was in the middle of the ocean with one of my coworkers. It was

dark, but I could see. The water was very, very deep. I decided to dive deep

into the water and then rise to the top for air, like I used to do when I was a

kid. After I got some air, I looked over at the shore and could see thousands

of sea creatures. They reminded me of alligators, but I knew they could swim

under water.

 

I heard, " There are few out here, but close to the shore there are tens of

hundreds of thousands. " I knew that I had to go through them to get back to the

land. I knew that I had no choice, so started swimming towards them, then woke

up. I said to my coworker, " Let's go. " Kind of like, " let's get it over with. "

 

I took that to mean that the closer to conscious, physical awareness we

are, the more fear and separation we are exposed to. But the further away into

the subconscious realm, the more " united " and peaceful and less fearful it is.

I knew that I was choosing to go back to the land and understood that being

exposed to the sea creatures was a necessary part of that choice. I was

planning to just " move through them " and ignore them.

 

Next scene (or dream), I was driving down a road where I grew up and used

to drive as a teenager. It was before the destruction of Katrina - like it used

to be. I was by myself and on a mission, but heard a voice. It said, " Why do

you take this route? This is not the way everyone else is going. " And I said,

" Because I remembered that it was here, and it is more peaceful. " And the voice

said, " You are correct. Same destination, you will arrive just the same. "

 

I'm not sure if I took the longer, more scenic route, or the shorter route,

I only know that it was " the road less traveled, " and I was avoiding what the

crowd had to say. I felt that I was purposefully avoiding the fear and the

crowd and that they would not notice that I was gone until we reached the

destination, and then they would remember me and wonder where I had been.

 

In real life, I do try to avoid the crowd, but am not normally so brave!

LOL! I felt this was a message to all of us that we will arrive safely to the

destination, whether we ignore the fear and avoid the crowd, or not. Might as

well take the more peaceful route!
