I am forwarding the message i sent to the john of god site this morning as it

applies to all of my family in KAS and the healing forums also.

 

My youngest sister gave me a book to read on my journey called " eat pray love "

by elizabeth Gilbert. This is what is on the back cover " she begins her quest in

rome, she indulges herself and gains nearly two stone.  In India she finds

enlightenment through scrubbing temple floors.  finally in Bali a toothless

medicine man reveals a new path to peace, leaving her ready to love again "   I

had told lmy sister about Kundalini and she said this is why she gave me the

book.  Of course I devoured the book with the wonderful luxury of time I have

had to myself and it is read now from cover to cover.  It was first published

in 2006 so you may have read this already but if not then I recommend it, I

think it is a great book, not fiction but a real life story about " one womans

search for everything "   It is written with humour and sincerity. 

I did get  a bit bored with all the eating she did in italy  lol although her

sensory descriptions are very good.  The time she spent  in India and Bali

was facinating. 

In India she goes to live in an ashram and comes to experience Kundalini

Shakti.  When she  describes her experience of the void, I was amazed at how

her discription was so similar to my experience.    She says she was pulled

through the wormhole of the Absolute... she says she was inside the void and

also was the void, a tiny peice and also the whole of it.  I loved reading her

story. so if you come across this book it is worth getting .  As I was leaving

Dublin this morning I saw her follow up book in the shop so I have bought that

for the 9 hour flight tonight !

Ok I will turn off my in box after I send this. 

I am not going to communicate while in Brazil.  I will skype my family at home

on occasion but other than that I want to focus only on the experience in the

casa.  I will keep a journal though and I will write to you ( bore you silly)

when I get home again after the 15th of Feb.

Good morning everyone from Lisbon around miday here.  I am on my way. I left

Dublin at 7am this morning and now I wait until tonight for the next leg of the

journey on to Brazil. wow it is wonderful to be doing this and I am so glad and

grateful for the opportunity. May you other travellers  have a safe and

enjoyable journey and I am looking forward to meeting you all in Brasilia.

Thank you to everyone who posted such lovely thoughts and blessings and to

everyone who is thinking of us on the journey.  I carry thoughts of you all

with me and hold you dear in my heart.  Love and healing and peace will be sent

from Brasilia to you all.  Shrikant I will pray for your wife and steve I will

pray for you and your kidney stone and prayers for everyone else also.

Thanks for posting that Brad, it makes it all very real and it is so close to

happening now.  Please God there will be no added obstuctions or complications

with Chrisms visa and he can join us as early as is possible.  Yes we will be

ok, yes to no worries and yes yes yes will arrive.  

I am turning off my in box soon.  Looking forward to meeting with Dominic

at the airport first. So it will be a few weeks before I tune in again.

Good night or good morning everyone and have a safe journey to Brasilia... After

a flurry of activity here Tony and I are ready to head to the airport in the

morning.

 

Chrism is still waiting on the visa after a very long and frustrating effort to

get things moving as quick as possible. He will join us as fast as he can.

Basically he's all approved, but it's a matter of the embassy handing over the

passport with the visa to him.

 

Keep your prayers up for him. We will be okay though. No worries, yes?

 

We will head to Abadiania, the Casa and our hotel Amazonas the first day after

everyone arrives. Likely we will arrive at 7PM or so. At 8PM, some friends from

America, Dan and Rene may come around to our hotel to speak to us and meet us.

They may be able to answer some of our questions and concerns. In the morning

(Tues), for those not up too late from Jet Lag, we may be able to have a walk

around the Casa with one of them and see where we are, where everything is.

 

After Lunch on Tuesday, we may be able to take a trip away from the Casa. There

is one location that Angela really wants to visit, it might be too far to go on

Tuesday though. We can discuss this or other options. The information session in

English is on Tuesday at 7:30 PM, so we should be around for it.

 

We may have an opportunity to look around or take a trip after the first three

days of sessions at the Casa (Wed, Thurs, Fri), travel a little on Sat and Sun,

however, for anyone who recieves a healing- an intervention- (like a type of

surgery) they may not be able to leave since they are to rest.

 

We can discuss all our options once we are together!

Happy Travels! Look forward to your posts when you return. I read Eat, Pray,

Love and found the ashram part interesting. I agree, the eating in italy was a
