Dream of cleansing

Dear Friends,

In a dream I was in a building of several levels. I found myself in the bottom

level; it was built so that it was surrounded by earth up till the windows.

Outside could be seen from the windows; there was reddish earth for a distance,

and then green trees and light. This level had several rooms, and they were all

rooms for washing. People were to come here specifically for washing themselves.

I was trying to clean the floors to get ready for the people who would come.

There was earth on the floors. I had a bucket and I filled it with clear water;

there was always clear water running from the taps. I began to pour this over

the floors. The reddish earth flowed with the water down into the drains, and

the pattern of the floor tiling emerged. It was black and white diamond-shaped

tiling. It looked lovely and was shining. Where the floor met the walls(the

walls and ceiling were all white) there were residues of earth still, so I tried

to wash this away. I tried to scrub hard but found that I could not remove it,

because the floor tiling began a small space away from the wall so that there

would always be earth here. This was significant, and once I realised this I was

comfortable with the earth being there.

People began to arrive, and I began to help them to wash.
