Guest guest
I have a specific question for you all seeing as our teacher is on break. I was reading through the old posts and came across a technique described by chrism that involved breathing prana in through the fontanel and down to the tailbone. He said this would activate the K. I have not yet had an awakening. I have had all sorts of the little symptoms including " chakra org@sms " , but nothing close to the initial spinal sweep. So I tried this excercise today and after 5 min. had a distinct tingling on the top of my head and heat building up all along my spine. I can still feel my lower back, like I have a heating pad on it. Has anyone used this technique? Any stories to share? Guest guest
I used to do that a lot while meditating before coming here to the group or more something similar. I would breath in throught fontanel to the root chakra and then on out breath sent out in the earth, then the next breath I breathed in to the root chakras from the earth and the out breath back up out the fontanel. Rotate it that way, but I would hold breath in root chakra going both directions. I later found and read that this was an actual breathing technique taught by this hindu person. Don't remember the book or article I read that from. " Science of Breathing " maybe. Could you give the post number of chrism's that you found that in? Guest guest
I have found that this is best not done until an initial spinal sweep. This is due to the over obsession that people can attach to this technique and the potential damage to the crown by passing over the safeties in the many ways that people like to skip and jump around the practice of them. So do as you will but I will recommend that you do not partake of this technique. Yes I know that I posted it back then but in retrospect would not post that today. - blessins - chrism , scott perkins <scottmushman wrote: > > I have a specific question for you all seeing as our teacher is on break. Guest guest
Thank you for your reply, Chrism. I will abstain from this technique as you advise against it. I may seem impatient, I just want change so badly and I want to connect with the Divine so much that I look for ways to accelerate that. As your student I will follow your guidance. I am working on being humble and loving and tolerant and patient. Not easy to do all the time. I am up to 12 reps of the Tibetans now. Twice a day I do them and go into my meditation and prayer routine. I hope your trip was fulfilling and I wish you all a safe trip home, If you are not already there.
