Guest guest
Hi, I'm new to this list because Rae recommended it from another list. My experience with K is uneven and uncertain. I definitely have had many things happen but not the textbook surge up the spine. When I was in my twenties, in 1972, I woke something up, but never thought of it as K. Now I think that it was, because I was definitely in an altered state 24 hours a day and it was grand. I acheived it by meditating 7 or 8 hours a day in solitude in the woods. I kept what I found to myself for over 30 years. Because I felt so alone in my Heavenly Grace and because I couldn't understand the suffering of all around me, I found a way to shut it down to start over, this time with more awareness. But then I was stuck here in this world of pain again. I went for a few years totally immersed in sex, drugs and rock and roll but eventually got sober and counseling, eventually got married. Only in the past 8 or 9 years have I come back to meditation to regain what I lost. I feel the stirrings of K at times and have many random experiences but not like before. Thanks for the opportunity to share. Love to all, Innerpilgrim
Guest guest
Innerpilgrim, Welcome! This is a great group with very knowledgable people. More than I. I only come with experience. It sounds like you did have a K experience at the beginning. It is hard to survive in this world after having that experience especially when no one else around you knows what's going on. I had my K experience in India and I had no tingling feelings in my spine either. I have also struggled with drug addiction in the past, my family has a big history of addictive personalities. I hope that with my Kundalini experience I can break that cycle for myself and my kids. I pray the same for you! Once again, welcome!
