Guest guest
I wanted to share a completely amazing experience with all of you tonight because I know that you will understand. My nephew's wife has been in the hospital in labor today which was induced this morning. At 6:40 tonight, my mother (who will be 85 this year) calls me on the phone and said that she had dozed off in the chair. She said, " Aunt Elise was just here! She was on the couch and I couldn't see her, but I could FEEL her. " And she just kept saying over and over, " Aunt Elise was JUST HERE. " I felt chills come all over me. Aunt Elise was my mother's sister who died years ago from cancer. When I was a child, we used to say the rosary together and I consider her to be, without a doubt, THE most influential person in my life who inspired my faith as a child. You may remember - I told you a story about her seeing the Virgin Mary in church many, many years ago. Anyway, I asked my mom if she had said anything and my mom said, " No, but I know she was here. I can't explain it. " So then I said, " Well maybe the baby has been born. " And my mom said, " I forgot all about the baby. I was so excited about Aunt Elise. " Then my mom says that somebody is trying to call her, so she switched over on the phone. I sat on hold for about 5 minutes and I got really emotional because I KNEW what she was going to say. She finally came back and said that it was my niece. Then she said, " The baby has been born! " He was born at 6:25. And she started telling me how much he weighed, etc. And I said, " Did you tell her (my niece) about Aunt Elise? " And she said, " Oh, I forgot all about Aunt Elise. We were so excited about the baby. " And I said, " Mom - PUT IT TOGETHER! Aunt Elise came to be with you at the EXACT time the baby was being born! " Then we both got really emotional about it. Anyway - I thought it was a totally amazing experience and thought you all may be interested to hear. Love to the K family! GCDeb

Yes, I have been very excited about this and told the story to several of my coworkers today, and then they started telling me stories of similar experiences that have happened to them! So, it made for a fascinating day! I should try to inspire people more often! LOL! GCDeb
