Guest guest
hi to all, just inserting a thought on hypnogognic states for consideration. i seminary we were taught that we upon falling asleep and upon awakening traverse sushumna as moving either toward moon (sleep/ida/unconsciousness) or sun (awaken/pingala/awareness). as we slip through the center or sushumanic nadi we flash through divinity/light. i think this is where every one mystically or symbolically attains the healing state which sleep lends. it may well be wise to practice looking for this in falling asleep for it can be lingered upon more readily when falling rather than when awakening. this state called hypogognic may well be simply a sushumanic flicker? just thinking here..  shanti tim --- On Fri, 2/12/10, Yiara <angela_yiara wrote: Yiara <angela_yiara Re: Re: Flashes Friday, February 12, 2010, 12:32 PM  Deb, thank you very much for explaining that flashes and hypnogogic hallucinations are the same. I had no clue what flashes are, but I know hypnogogic hallucinations quite well. Understanding now that these are important, I will pay attention to these " pictures " now much more. love Angela --- Deb111222 (AT) aol (DOT) com <Deb111222 (AT) aol (DOT) com> schrieb am Fr, 12.2.2010: > from a scientific point of view called " hypnogogic > hallucinations, " which are visions that happen while in a ____________ _________ _________ _________ _________ __ Sie sind Spam leid? Yes, I agree that hypnogognic is the descriptive word that people who study sleep cycles use, but I think there is so much more to it - I also think it is a crossing over into other realms of consciousness - Divine realms where healing takes place.
