Guest guest
Danielle, I haven't read anything about the K-diet. I do know that if your body is craving spicy, I would suggest eating spicy. Before my K becomes active I crave Indian food because of the spice. I grew up with mexican food, so I eat some of that too, but Indian is way more spicy. I think it helps to " clear " out my system. While I am K awakened it is hard for me to eat anything, I have to remind myself to eat and the only things that sound good to me are bland breat substances. And I drink lots and lots of water. This is just me though! And I'm not an expert, but I do know that us women should listen to what are bodies are craving. Just like when we are pregnant, there is usually a reason for the weird cravings. Just my two cents! I am curious and full of wonderment, as last night around 9pm, I found myself pouring a small mound of Cayenne Pepper into my left my palm and licking it. (This is certainly not anything I have ever done before). I ate the Cayenne Pepper straight-up, like a horse to salt lick. I sat there licking this from my palm until my eyelids were sweating, and my forehead was damp, and my mouth was on FIRE. I then chugged a bunch of soy milk! It seems contradictory to what I read in the K-files (which now I cannot locate). > > However, my muscles have been aching so badly and I'm not sure why, but after this firey pepper experience I feel better today, with the exception of my taste buds which are now inflammed. > > Can anyone tell me the benefits of Cayenne Pepper on the body, and or for what reasons again it is noted to stay away from spicey foods in the K-diet. I thought that with this information I might be able to put my puzzle pieces together and understand better perhaps what my " body " is needing. > > Thanks & Love to You. > ~Danielle >
Guest guest
Hi Danielle, it is mentioned in the safeties to stay away from spicey foods. I think if a person is expeiencing a lot of heat with their k it would not be good to eat spicey hot foods, since they do cause an increase in body temperatures. But if you are experiencing cold, I guess it could be good for you. Health wise Cayenne Pepper is recommended for keeping your arteries and heart healty. Guest guest
Spices will not commonly mix well with the Kundalini especially if they are hot. It is in the safeties to stay clear of spicy foods and I believe it was Marshall who brought this recently to the group in his extreme response to spices and Kundalini. -
Guest guest
Hi Danielle, From an Herb specialist and Homeopathy guru that was on our radio show a few months back, she said that Cayenne Pepper is amazing for the Heart. She couldn't say enough good things about it. She said it is one that she carries with her *all* the time, in her purse and has it daily. She recommended it for my Mom when I told her she has had Angina and could lead to future heart issues. I'd say go with your gut, K will steer you right. Guest guest
Just as K will manifest differently for different people and differently for the same person at different times. We should or should not use hot spices according to our needs and desires. As a generalization hot spices do not go with K rising but that is a generalization. Personally I love hot spices and use them all of the time. I have read great things about red pepper and keep a salt shaker full of it on my table. rich
