Sandra & All:

I experienced something interesting this evening. I was conducting a volunteer

recognition for a gentleman who has really stuck by a young man these past

several years. After the reception the volunteer was speaking with me, and

sharing more deeply about the troubles this teen is overcoming. We were

discussing the anger outburts of this teen and how he gets to a point where he

" just snaps and exploids " . The volunteer said, I don't know what it is but he

listens to me and I am able to calm him. It's trust, I said. This young man is

slowly gaining trust in his mentor, and through love and care is being

reconditioned. This teen as a child had a father who was violent...to the

extreme that as a boy, this now teen witnessed his father take an axe to a

family member. So, I found this quite fascinating about the timing and theme of

such.

I have trust " issues " as well...but as most know by now, I have a tendancy to do

things backwards. I have a tendancy to trust until someone evidences that they

are not trust worthy (which can be an interesting way to approach life) ...well

typically anyhow until an event during my K-activation and then things flip

flopped and flop flipped there for awhile. It took much pain and indeed

suffering to realize that this layered experience was too a mirroring of my own

self that I was not trusting. I'm rambling now.

Being fully present and loving without condition and without expectation is...

something dogs evidence best; a beautiful teaching to us all.
