Guest guest
There has always been a mixup between pineal and pituitary glands, but as I understand it, the pineal is the crown and the pituitary is the 3rd eye. This is not directed at you, , just the way I clicked the respond button brought it to your post. Love, Scott
Guest guest
I googled the location of the Peneal.... any images I came across just showed drawings of the pineal in the brain itself and I could not then relate those pictures to the position within the skull. If I was to draw a line down through the crown chakra and a line in through the third eye would the pineal be where the lines cross. I know it doesn't really matter but I am curious about what is located in this point of the skull and wonder if it is the pineal gland? Does anyone know? love Julia ---
Guest guest
Julia, The pineal gland is nestled within the medulla oblongota. It is buried deep in the brain. Modern science has no idea of it's function, and that is just the status qou of the powers that be. Much love to you. Guest guest
The pituitary gland as illustrated in the link you provided shows that it is forward of the pineal. The third eye is forward of the crown. At this point it seems like apples and oranges. Word are only symbols to point the way of what it is that needs to be communicated. I do like my interactions with you, , please don't take it the wrong way if I seem harsh at times. I hope we find a opportunity to meet one day. You make a difference in my life when you respond to my posts. Let's keep it up! Love, Scott ________________________________ . Guest guest
Hi Julia, The way I understand it, to find the Pineal Gland, you should. 1. Find your temples with a finger on each side of your head next to the outer corners of your eyes. 2. Slide your fingers back about an inch and then down a bit so that they rest on top of or just above the bone leading back from the cheekbone toward the ear where there is a very small tiny pit. 3. Think of drawing a straight line from one finger to the other where those tiny pits are. This should be thought of as a bar that goes through your head from one side to the other. Remember where this line is. 4. Imagine a second line that will intersect the previous line. This line starts at the bridge of the nose where the eyebrows come together. You want to think of this line as intersecting the first line inside the head, angling down slightly in order to do this. 5. Think of this intersection area as about the size of a pea, and I think this is where the Pineal Gland is located. This is not an exact, exact, but an approximation. I hope this will help and clarify some. Guest guest
Hi Julia, did you happen upon this one when you googled? http://history.wisc.edu/sommerville/351/351-19.htm You will need to scroll down a ways to see the picture of the brain. Descartes, believed the seat of soul resides in the Pineal gland. The pineal gland is located more in the center of the brian. The pituitary is close up front near the optical chaism. The pituitary governs over all the glands or is called the master gland is my understanding so it would make more sense for it to be associated with the crown chakra. The pituitary, pineal, and hypothalamus form a trianle in the center of the brain. http://www.strayreality.com/Lanis_Strayreality/thirdtyepinealgland.htm This is an interested article I found on the pineal gland if any is interested to learn more about the pineal gland. As far as kundalini goes, I gues there is not need to have a knowledge of or to know the location of the pineal gland, but to some it may be of interest. Guest guest
I just read something about a week ago on a hindu site that the medulla oblongota is said to be the mouth of God. Hehe! So that would mean the pineal gland is setting in the mouth of God. Linda , scott perkins <scottmushman wrote: > > Julia, > > The pineal gland is nestled within the medulla oblongota. Guest guest
Scott - no harshness received or perceived. I have learned to take postings with a detached view- often when we write we do not know how others will take things. My prayer is that people allow others to say what they need to and not take it personally. It has taken me some time to get in this space. I promise if you say something I do not like I will let you know. If you attend the Phoeniz seminar we will meet. There is a good group forming so it will be nice to be part of a weekend community of K folk. There is nothing like being with other K active folks or those interested in K. It gives one an opportunity to really be open and honest in relating. Not found in our normal lives for many. Of course here on the group we have that opportunity to be who we are. TY for your concern - all is well... e

Guest guest
I don't know English much. I feel non attached is better word than detached, because detached means you were attached earlier but trying to seperate or disconnect now........s ________________________________ . Guest guest
Thank you, Chrism. I have missed you so much! Sounds crazy maybe, but in my mind, I have already given my devotion to you and when I can't have daily interaction via internet, I feel very lost. I love the fact that you give so much of yourself. Guest guest
Dear sarkis and scott thanks for the replies... Linda I followed you links earlier and I enjoyed reading the secon link, I will take a longer look at it later. You are right in that there is no need to know the location of the pineal but it is interesting !
