Guest guest
While checking out parts of the brain, I remembered reading about the amygdala some years ago. The amygdala, an almond-shaped structure involved in processing and remembering strong emotions such as fear. It is located in the temporal lobe just in front of the hippocampus. I decided to refresh my mind on what I had found out about these two little almond shaped objects in the mind. http://www.neilslade.com/art/Brain/chap1.html Reading here it states that by thinking upon a or the happiest moment in your life causes your amygdala to click forward. @@@@ " This sends energy all the way through your brain. Transcendence is " in " your frontal lobes. The frontal lobes are the most advanced part of your brain. The frontal lobes are that part of your brain responsible for creativity, logic, intuition, new problem solving, synthesis of ideas, imagination, concepts of time, and planning. By clicking your amygdala forward, you cause electro-chemical activity to occur from the base of your brain all the way through to the most advanced part of your brain, the frontal lobes. Clicking your amygdala forward, self-stimulating the front portion of your amygdala, causes automatic sensations of pleasure and peace of mind. Why? Nature has created the brain to REWARD the kind of thinking that enhances survival. Frontal lobes transcendence is the addition of increased frontal lobes activity to the point where only positive pleasurable emotions are felt. This is a result of a higher perception of reality and a more successful mode of operation for the individual in the environment. By continually self-stimulating the most advanced anterior portion of your brain- your frontal lobes, by " clicking your amygdala forward " - you get greatly increased/continuous creative intelligence pleasure. Clicking your amygdala forward is simple and very easy once you understand how your brain works and recognize the process. It has been there since the day you were born. " @@@@ Wow! I wonder if this is what happens when you hear the popping sound and then experience bliss and peace. You can go to the link above to see how to control this clicking forward, then anytime you experience anything negative, you can just click forward and change it to bliss. It this what practicing the safety " Inner Joy " does for you? http://www.neilslade.com/Papers/viewzone/index4.html @@@ " Self-amygdala stimulation without electrodes can be performed by using the brain's capacity for guided imagery. For example, by simply imagining that you are tickling the front part of each amygdala with a feather, you change the flow of electro-chemical activity in the brain- and voila! This clicks the amygdala forward, if only temporarily. This imaging alone increases frontal lobes activity and begins increases in creativity, intelligence, and so on. The more frequently you tickle, the more you click, the more pronounced the results. These changes are measurable by modern brain scanning medical instruments such as PET and MRI machines. The brain is a thought machine- and thus, one controls the brain and it's electro-chemical circuitry with simple thought. " @@@ Interesting...huh? So I am wondering now, does a full kundalini awakening causes the amyglalas to stay clicked forward? Or would you still experience fear, depressions, and other negative expression at times? Linda - this is incredibly fascinating - thanks so much for posting it! I have been studying this stuff for years, but never heard it put like that before. Very, very useful and important information! Love, GCDeb
Guest guest
I'm going nuts trying to keep up with all the little stuff that needs to be done out of the way in order to get back to the good stuff like Kundalini and learning In any case, I just had to reply to this... Maybe a half a year ago - I can't imagine it's really that long, feels like two years - I came across that same thing. I read T.D.A. Lingos book " Self-Transcendence Workbook " (a free download) he was Neil Slades teacher with the weird brain stuff I did that amygdala clicking for a summer and the strange thing is that it seems to release suppressed emotional issues to surface. I had severe acne on my back back then and a lot of grief. So I would do that clicking and attract events in my life that caused me to explode in rage and then cry. Even when I was crying I would do the amygdala thing and that would cause more grief to surface. After that summer my acne was mostly gone, so it was like I thought: the acne was induced by supressed grief. As I continued with the clicking, one day after having another intense release of grief I began experiencing electric jolts going trough my head from the back of the head to the forehead. They were somewhat painful and disorienting, and that is actually part of the reason I ended up here I had an intuition it might be K related when I read about K. So the two are definately intertwined somehow (I guess everything is). You also wrote something about the amygdala clicking continually forward during bliss, and I believe that is the case. That could also be why consciously doing the feather thing brings up supressed stuff; that stuff is what keeps us going into fear all the time and living a fear based existance. By the stuff I mean emotionally backed beliefs adobted during childhood. Phew! I wasn't going to write much today, or so I thought Blessings to you, Aarni , " danceswithcats999 " <crazycats711 wrote: > > > While checking out parts of the brain, I remembered reading about the amygdala some years ago.
