Guest guest
Hi, I sent this post to the Private students group and asked if I would also post it here. I hope it is of some help to others experiencing the facial pain Kundalini can bring. Iona x Hi All, It seems that Jaw and face pain is a common side effect of Kundalini. Mine was put down to 'Temporal Mandibular Joint Dysfunction', caused by my ex using my face as his personal punch bag in the past. It also damaged one of my ear drums. But that's past now. The pain comes & goes for weeks at a time and I find normal analgesics are useless for the pain. So I now only have foods I can drink like smoothies for breakfast and soups for dinner & lunch. There is always mashed potato and milk products if you drink them. It gives my tummy a rest and what I save in shopping I give to charity. I now look on it as a positive rather than negative. After resting my jaws for a few days it soon eases up. Just an idea given with love and a lot of sympathy. Iona x
Guest guest
Hi Iona, Grinding your teeth in your sleep can also irritate your jaw and wearing a night guard while you sleep may help. Many of us grind our teeth in our sleep and we don't realize it. HAPPY 82ND ACADEMY AWARD NIGHT! GREAT ONE! Guest guest
I used to have a great deal of TMJ pain and I would grind my teeth. I remember one night a voice woke me up in the middle of the night to stop me from grinding so much. It was from anger and other unresolved issues towards my ex. Bowen therapy helped it considerably, as well as deciding to let go of the emotions that were hanging around in the jaw. Bowen also allowed me to regress to past lives to release the pain, etc. but this is not discussed, not believed in for most Bowen therapists. Fortuntately my husband does Bowen on me. Guest guest
Hello Angelina, Please Google " bowen therapy " for more info. It is a gentle manual therapy on the soft tissue. My extreme response is not the norm, however, it was my time for healing. I also think that K accelerated things. I'm not positive on this, but I don't think this group is to be used for the promotion of particular modalities. So please feel free to email me directly if you have any further questions. Carla PS other modalities were significant for me as well On 7 March 2010 19:59, gypsyeyes_101 <gypsyeyes_101 wrote: > > > Hi Carla, > > > >Bowen also allowed me to regress to past lives to release the pain, etc. > but this is not discussed, not believed in for most Bowen therapists. > Fortuntately my husband does Bowen on me. > > Please tell us more about Bowen therapy and how it works. > > Thank you! > > Best, Angelina > > > --- In <%40ya\ hoogroups.com>, > " Carla & Patrick " <bowenhealth wrote: > > > > I used to have a great deal of TMJ pain and I would grind my teeth.
