Opening hearts...poetry

I could not sleep last night, I had this great idea, my sister is an artist...a

really good one. I had a poem in my head, so I had to paint the picture of this

poem for her, and when she has time, she'll paint it and I can't wait to share

with you all!!

 

Here is the poem so far, it's not done yet, but I have to share it!! Or I can't

sleep! I know a little coocoo for cocoa puffs, but hey, take me as I am!

 

Gossip, fear and hatred spreads like wildfire,

Wisdom spreads her wings and flies through it.

 

White as snow, she takes her flight,

Silent as gold and quick as silver,

she pierces through the flames.

 

Like a Phoenix, she will rise,

not everyone will hear her,

not everyone will see her,

but she will be there.

 

Black as ebony, dark as the night,

she takes on new heights.

 

Swooping down through the river of life,

she emerges transparent as the ghost,

clear as a rain drop....

 

I'll type out the whole thing when I finish, this writing takes alot out of me,
