Guest guest
Hey group, While meditating tonight I experienced a strong and intense pressure vibrating in my throat. The more I submitted to it the stronger it became. Fear arose because I was literally choking on the pressure as if I was physically being strangled. I continued awareness on breath and stayed with it as long as I could. Typing this now I feel it returning. I stretched my neck and head, tried to clear my throat several times but there still remains a strong discomfort in the area. I did the 5 Tibetans when I got up. They helped so that I could return to meditating but I still feel an enormous amount of energy there. What could I do if a certain energy center becomes wildly active during sitting? Should I just relax into it although it feels like it might explode? Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks
Guest guest
Hi Clearluminous, I think you did well. Surrender to the Kundalini and what she is doing with you. Release your fear. Yes I would sit with these feelings and these occurences. It is a doorway to what you seek is it not? Perhaps when the fear comes, try a mantra or prayer to help you relax and surrender. Such as " I surrender to Shakti, I surrender to the Kundalini, I release my fear. " Or Chrism's " I am one with all that I am one with all that I am one with all that I am... " If things get too intense, back off your practice for a little while until it calms down. You may wish to stop prayer, meditation and the Tibetans for a few days. Try walking with barefeet to the earth. Have watermelon if you can and good water as well. Avoid the caffeine and poor foods. Really trust and surrender to the Kundalini though. Why was it scary? Were you harmed? Are you okay now? Or was it just a new experience, just a little bit outside of your comfort zone? Now you know, and with deeper surrender, Shakti make take you just a bit further each time with these experiences. When she comes to do some 'work' again, let us surrender to it as deeply as we are able. Congrats on your progress! be well! bradly I think similar things have happened to me with the heart chakra area. , " clearluminous " <clearluminous wrote: > > Hey group, > While meditating tonight I experienced a strong and intense pressure vibrating in my throat. Guest guest
Sometimes more energy with regards to the Kundalini is not the best response. imho. I will suggest that you pull back from the sitting med and practice the five Tibetans as they will spread the energy out into more than one area. Ground yourself. Eat some meat, release energy into a tree or the earth. Stand in the ocean surf. Do some really hard work or exercise. Have loving s & xual expression. Any of these activities and others similar can have the effect of grounding a person. - I will suggest this for you! -
Guest guest
Bradly, It was the sudden shock of the feeling that was startling. It was new and unexpected but I wasn't harmed, just shaken. Your advice is great, I will be following it. Along with continuing to expand my trust and devotion to Kundalini. I'm very grateful for what She is doing from within and last night I realized that ego is no match against her. Thank you for the prayers. Chrism, Thank you very much as well. I will be doing more grounding practices in the days to come. Sincerely, Elliot , " curball2002 " <curball2002 wrote: > > Hi Clearluminous, > > I think you did well.
