Guest guest
Warning..kind of graphic. In my dream a couple nights ago, there was this huge tree...nothing like we would see on this earth, it was so tall, it was in the clouds. The top was shaped like an eagle. On the ground where I was there were people I didn't know killing quail, sorry this isn't pretty...they were twisting the necks, one person was bashing the head in with a stone. At first it didn't bother me because I thought they were going to eat these quail. But NO! They were doing it for fun, I couldn't look anymore and felt disgusted, the sound was horrific of them doing this to those quail. My dream last night...the part I remember anyways. There were lots of snakes. Normally I'm afraid of snakes, but this dream I was not, yay! Then I saw some snakes were cut in half, then the people wanted to show me how they would cut them in half, and they'd say " look, it doesn't hurt them " I didn't like it at all, I would turn my face away and try to get out of there. Any takes on these dreams? What do they mean? I'm not a violent person at all, why is this horrible violence coming into my dreams now? Thanks! Guest guest
This reminds me of a children s' book that I can not remember the name of but it was one that really had an effect on me. It is about a town where when the boys turned 10 they had the dubious honor of being part of a pigeon kill. It was an initiation sort of. ONe little fella was not interested in this cruel activity for the heck of it - he loved birds and a bird came to his window sill and he fed it and cared for it and had to hide the bird from his family and friends. It is all about standing up for God's creatures and caring for them even if it means we suffer. This little guy did suffer and his father was not happy with him- nor were his friends. I just remember the awful feeling I felt for the poor birds - the lovely pigeons that were bred to be slaughtered by these insane people and it was all sanctioned. This does not have anything necessarily to do with your dream but I wanted to share for this had an effect on me. I see the ads for the ASPCA on TV and I cry and feel pain for these helpless creatures. It is so much easier to go along with the crowd than to stand up for what one believes. WE are constantly swimming up stream within the Kundalini journey. We are different we are not part of the crowd - our beliefs are strong in the love based platform of Shakti Kundalini. Because of this often we suffer in this society. It is nice to know that we are not alone here in the KAS Sanctuary. We can embrace our beliefs and be supported by other members. WE can love and care for the others here and for the world at large including the creatures of our world. Here we need not fear - we are safe. e
Guest guest
You are correct, thank you for your reply. Maybe when I see this happening, I won't be such a wimp and turn my head and look the other way. I'll have the confidence to stand up and say something even though I might be alone. Thanks!!
