Birth of a Red Poppy

Dear All:

I just witnessed the birth of a red poppy. I sat in awe as I watched the husk

spread, leaving a window to peek at the red crinkled petals tucked tightly

together inside. So slowly the husk spread wide. A few red petals emerged and

unfolded; slowly stretching and ironing out their wrinkles, until the head

popped out; its so delicate yellow lashes blinking up at the blue sky and its

glowing yellow under belly cupping its magnificent red light.

Oh so brilliant and AMAZING.

I made a collage for you so you could see. (it might take a bit to post).

I absolutely love your photography! Such spiritual work you do and you have one

terrific eye for color and composition. It makes me happy to see it. I would

love to buy a peice or two from you when my finances pick up (If you sell them).

Until then, your photos are very inspiring I really enjoy them!

Love-Mary
