Guest guest
Hi, Has anyone else ever experienced a real hollow/abyss feeling in their Solar Plexus? I've had this feeling for months. It feels like something emotional is clenched down tight in the area. The feeling has become more prominent since shaktipat. I have tried to 'be' with the sensations and to accept/surrender it, but it does nothing for it. Also, just taking it easy this week because I have become a bit more hypersensitive. Thanks! Guest guest
Yes, I have experienced that, at least you description sounds like what I experience. I don't know what to do to relive that. It makes me want to eat, but eating doesn't help any. When I get anty/hypersenstive, the thing I have found best to do is to do something very physical, like some hard yard work or dance until you sweat. Hehe! A real good physical work out of some kind. Guest guest
Hey, Thanks. Yes, definitely feel like putting something there to fill the space. Hopefully someone will know. Yes, trying to keep active. I've been doing more walking/jogging and have been back at the gym. I do something physical every two days. Guest guest
greetings, not sure if this is befitting, yet the idea for space is too stimulating to not mention that shiva destroys the old in order to make way for the new.....space pre-exists time...space is never created nor destroyed...it is sacred...it accepts all and refuses none...it never changes even if some 'thing' temporarily exists over it....it is like the great mind/spirit itself in reguards to the 3 OM's (omnipresent, etc.)...it is knowable, yet invisible and untouchable...much like the throat chakra of the classic term 'void' or ether...it is the darkness without form before creation/manifesttion...arising seemingly independent of causation...like the zero it magnifies all & consumes all depending on how its used...a bindu really, who or what can create any 'thing' more amazing?! thanks for the stimulation as for the mars/manipura/solar plexus chakra location....perhaps when your heart/anahata/air chakra is stimulated by shaktipat you will know the blessings decending from the heart...like rain, blessings are mystically always a precipitation downward...from above to below. tim ________________________________ Sarah N <bohemian_gipsy Tue, March 23, 2010 10:50:52 PM RE: Re: Hollow feeling in SP Hey, Thanks. Guest guest
I have experienced this also. Hard physical exercise helps for me, as does getting outside into nature, barefoot and away from other people, and loving service. Chanting OM out loud can help - let it reverberate through your body and head. Sometimes for me it also indicates something is out of whack in my environment, and I have to thoroughly clean the house, or collect a bunch of stuff and get rid of it, or change the wall decorations, or very thoroughly scrub and clean everything in the house. You may want to then burn some incense, or sage, or put on some music - whatever you like to do to raise the vibrations of your home environment. Hope this helps! Guest guest
It can also mean you've had an energetic upgrade and, no longer being the person you used to be or think you were, the arrangement of the externals of your life are no longer appropriate to who you now are. You'll have to let Shakti inform you what may need to change. And on a more mundane note, make sure you're not using any stimulants, like caffeine. These directly create nervousness and anxiety in the navel center/solar plexus area. Love, David
Guest guest
Thanks for the response, it is definitely food for thought. It's nice to hear that you got something from it xx I guess it's just a natural reaction to try and fill the vacuum. If I put my attention on my heart it feels like a void/space also, but still a much more gentle feeling to it than the SP. , Tim Fitch <rockanandadad wrote: > > greetings, > > not sure if this is befitting, yet the idea for space is too stimulating to not mention that shiva destroys the old in order to make way for the new.....space pre-exists time...space is never created nor destroyed...it is sacred...it accepts all and refuses none...it never changes even if some 'thing' temporarily exists over it....it is like the great mind/spirit itself in reguards to the 3 OM's (omnipresent, etc.)...it is knowable, yet invisible and untouchable...much like the throat chakra of the classic term 'void' or ether...it is the darkness without form before creation/manifesttion...arising seemingly independent of causation...like the zero it magnifies all & consumes all depending on how its used...a bindu > > really, who or what can create any 'thing' more amazing?! > thanks for the stimulation > as for the mars/manipura/solar plexus chakra location....perhaps when your heart/anahata/air chakra is stimulated by shaktipat you will know the blessings decending from the heart...like rain, blessings are mystically always a precipitation downward...from above to below. > tim > > > > ________________________________ > Sarah N <bohemian_gipsy > > Tue, March 23, 2010 10:50:52 PM > RE: Re: Hollow feeling in SP > > > > Hey, > > Thanks. Guest guest
Thank you. That makes a lot of sense. I do feel the need to change things, but am procrastinating a bit and stagnating. I'm pleased to say that I have been off coffee/caffeine for 2-3 mths now. I don't take any other stimulants. , " djgottlieb " <dgottlieb wrote: > > It can also mean you've had an energetic upgrade and, no longer being the person you used to be or think you were, the arrangement of the externals of your life are no longer appropriate to who you now are.
