Guest guest
Hello all, I haven't had any remarkable experiences with the shaktipat to speak of. I know it is coming in though. I have a very hard time with getting my mind to be quiet when I go into meditation after the tibetans. I seem to self narrate the experience, talk to myself, go over things, etc. The tapes just play away. Multiple songs are going on as well. When I catch myself I try to focus on breath and that works for about a minute and then its off to the races again! I did however have a strange feeling today with focusing on the throat chakra during meditation. Right after I said the Shakti prayer I felt my body elongating and sort of swaying. I was laying down, so swaying may not be the right word. A sense of giddiness came over me. On another note: I am trying to find ways to express myself more and be open to people. I decided to make a photo album of the paintings I have done over the past 5 years or so for you to look at. Be gentle with your criticisms, I am not a pro, just playing around with color and feelings. I hope you enjoy. Love and blessings. Guest guest
Hi Scott, if you can't go into silence you might try focusing on love and compassion for the world - at least this is what i did when i couldn't clear the mind and then it happened naturally for me - maybe during shaktipat with the energy high it may feel difficult to go into silence and may just return easily again for you after a bit - or focus on something that feels good to you unless says otherwise - Thats funny about the elongating and swaying. I get that feeling sometimes like i've slipped out of my body to my side and back in and then the other side - i think Linda too had this happen too - feels good though (:- Looking forward to seeing your paintings - and enjoy the giddiness (: Happy Throat Day (: Mia D (aka other deb) , scott perkins <scottmushman wrote: > > Hello all,
