Guest guest
Hey, Anyone else having restless sleep? I've been finding that I've been waking up at around 2-3am each night, and finding it hard to fall asleep unless I ask Goddess/Source/God/All-that-is to help clear out all my energy fields - stagnation, debris, blocks etc. After doing that clearing I tend to find that I go back to sleep fairly easily. Beforehand I'd be having pretty vivid/emotional dreams that would leave me feeling icky. Normally I sleep straight through the night for at least 10 hours. Cheers, Sarah
Guest guest
Hi Sarah, This is really normal even the restless sleep right now - and those dreams coming up - the middle of the night is always Shakti time (: for me its usually 3:00am - that you can get used too however the restless sleep will get better. Sometimes I found what I thought were bad dreams were actually helpful dreams - I just didn't understand it so well. For instance right before shaktipat I had this dream that people were taking pictures of me and i was trying to keep away from them and then something was going to happen here and I had to go to the top of this mountain and jump in this hole way underground - not something i'd want to do - anyway there was more to it and i was thinking all these bad things and I came on here and read someones post about right before shaktipat these kind of dreams are normal - its about the infusion - and then I realized i had this same sort of dream before, before other shaktipats... so maybe too its good to keep a journal if you like. A dream journal - i did for a little and I recently found it - it was crazy all the dreams that i thought were bad that were about shakti infusing me - and some too that have of course the subconscious stuff that we feel and believe about ourselves and our world - that does have a way of coming up ... but its ourselves we face (: and many times in dreams - so everything you are feeling is really normal. Feels nice to know that other people have or do feel it too. Well this always helps me anyway! (; I love my 3:00am wake up call now! But that was not always the case! ha Lots of beautiful shakti infusion for you and wishing you beautiful dreams Mia D (aka other Deb) , " bohemian_gipsy " <bohemian_gipsy wrote: > > Hey, > > Anyone else having restless sleep? Guest guest
Hi, Yea, I guess a dream journal would be helpful. I find that if I leave things to the morning the dream is usually mostly gone from my mind. And yes you're right they are healing/cleansing dreams, though unsettling. So, maybe I should get up and write it down when I wake up.. or maybe there is no need to and it's not really necessary to fret over the details. The day before yesterday's dream. In the dream I was confronted by random people (people unknown to me), childhood fears that still plague me now. If people gang up on me I tend to back down, like I did in the dream, and withdraw. I don't hold my ground and push back. It took me a few minutes in the dream to realise this. My dream actually paused as I came to this realisation and I was able to get over that fear in the dream. The rest of the dream is gone out of my mind, can't recall it even if I wanted to. I guess asking for cleansing when I wake up removes any remnants of energy caught in my aura or stuff that i am holding on to. I have been seeing a lot of snakes in my waking hours, in my mind's eye. The other day I saw a white-cobra with red diamond patterns on its head. Guest guest
Wow Sarah, You are doing great! The fact that you can realize in your dream while in the dream is great! And as far as the journal goes - I think its only if you feel naturally inclined to do so or if its something you enjoy. Much better imho to lighten up as much as you can with this and it will flow so much easier. I mean it the k will flow easy - sometimes I just get in my own way! ha I like what you said about not fretting the details - I think thats a beautiful attitude! Your dream, how you are is much like me. But you know what I'm learning is not to resist anything - most importantly ourselves. I always wanted to change myself but I learning to accept myself the way i am - be easy with myself - my stuff still comes up and instead now of being disappointed for the way i am - maybe its just the way i am - its okay - and things seem to go much smoother when I just accept everything - no resisting you know. For instance I don't so much enjoy being in large noisy places with lots of people. I suppose you could put a label on such a thing - and I mostly always felt bad about myself with this - comparing myself to other people - and thinking there is something wrong with me... but now i try to be easy and say its okay - I just prefer something else. And I try to see the good things with that. I think I would have missed the time I spend in nature and the beauty of it all - so maybe its not so bad after all - and maybe being like this helped me in my spirituality too. I'm learning to put a different spin on everything I felt about myself. I don't know if this helps any but you sound like you are doing great so go with what feels good to you. And the snake dreams you are having - sounds so good to hear you write that without resisting it. Wow you don't know how long I ran and ran and ran away from the snakes chasing me in my dreams! ha - Welcome to k land - she may bring wolves, spiders, cats, tigers, panthers/pumas - the animals of earth - so enjoy those they are all good -so great you are not running! And btw yes its all significant - the snake the diamonds the colors - hope you'll write more of what you see or dream! Lots of love Mia D (aka other deb) , " Sarah " <bohemian_gipsy wrote: > > Hi,
Guest guest
Hi, Yes it is odd when you realise you're dreaming. I have also had one of those dreams where you see yourself sleeping in a dream a few times. Yea, flowing is good and I do tend to get in my own way too sometimes! *nods head* I'm also big on self-criticism at times, wishing I was something else, but also learning to accept me. Acceptance and Self-love has been a learning challenge. Yep, I am similar to you. I'm the same with crowds and nature. I probably won't run away from animals in dreams, but if it's people I don't know if I can say the same thing. lol I will definitely try to remember to write things down as I remember.
