Guest guest
The cloak of deep grief has engulfed me. Inside my ego hides and seeks …then around the corner peeks and cries, " what about me? " Me, me, me! Somewhere in the night the cat burglar got my tongue. Surrender, transform me. No trap doors, or hidden pockets No past, no future Just now-erasing time. Embrace it. Face it. Feel it fully. Without attachment, move into the pain. Ouch. Ego- kicking and screaming. Go to your room and don't come out until you can behave like a young lady. Tick tock The clock must have stopped 40 years have passed. Stillness An unfathomable sense of peace. Within peace is joy. Within joy is Love. Is...am Green eggs and ham Sam... I am Love. ~Danielle

Guest guest
Danielle I love your poem! I especially like the line about sending your ego to her room until she can behave. That was so funny! What great metaphors - I understand and relate . Smiling from your words =) Mary ginal Message ----- " iamwaitingmoon " <iamwaitingmoon Wednesday, April 28, 2010 10:40:46 AM GMT -06:00 US/Canada Central Sam I am  The cloak of deep grief has engulfed me. Guest guest
Thank you all. Nearly a week has passed since my b-day. I was in tremendous pain and experienced deep deep grief, emotional and physical as I wrote this this morning. To receive happy birthday wishes and smiles in return is a bit of a surprise. By this being so, you have assisted me in not attaching to the pain. Thank you dearly. Love: Danielle , " yudhisthira1 " <yudhisthira1 wrote: > > Happy Birthday Danielle, > > I enjoy your poem. Guest guest
happy belated birthday Danielle. Your poem really resonated with me especially the part abut surrender and embracing the pain, to be burned at the stake again and again and from those ashes to be risen again. Transformation sure can hurt. craig , " iamwaitingmoon " <iamwaitingmoon wrote: > > Thank you all. Nearly a week has passed since my b-day.
