Awakening?

In 1969 I had the following experience: I was lying on my bed and had

the feeling that my mind was taking steps progressively backwards. There

was then a loud whooshing sound, and an explosion of bright, white light

in my head. Inside of the light, emanating from a trail of smoke was a

being that looked like the classical Buddha, and introduced himself as a

genius of the mind. The above experience sent me on a 40 year spiritual

quest.

Hi Chrism,

 

I have proceeded for the last 40 years on the assumption that the above

event was my initial Kundalini awakening. Do you concur with that

assumption?
