Guest guest
Hey Pat, To have the goal without the attachment to it, to know where we wish to go, yet surrendering on the way there. Surrender is a key to this. We let the Kundalini, the divine decide in it's own way, in it's own time. We have the goals, especially goals of service and love, and yet we find that balance so they do not stand in the way in the process. We are willing to let them go, to stand aside and let Shakti direct the process. How much do we really know and understand all aspects of our awakening? Surrender to the divine, and yet applying our will, our efforts and diligence towards our practice and the accomplishment of our desires and goals. A fine dance indeed requiring a lot of balance! And if we do fall down, lets get back up, surrender again and find the balance and continue. So for me, I would say yes, ask Shakti for help with your goals and dreams, and yet be willing enough to have the discernment to allow shakti to direct us towards these goals for our own highest good without allowing our ego to get in the way. Surrender! be well and I hope my thoughts helped. bradly > > also states that we should surrender to the Kundalini, but is it alright to ask the Kundalini to help you attain this/a goal without compromising the integrity of your practice? > > Anyones thoughts on this are welcome. >
Guest guest
Sounds like great advise Bradly. It occurs to me that Kundalini already knows what is in our hearts anyway so that asking for a goal might seem redundant. Asking for a goal is attached to the ego and I admit that I still have ego issues. I am still learning about Kundalini but balance does seem to be a the most important consideration when one is trying to assess the qualities and process of Kundalini. I guess Kundalini will always strive to regain and maintain balance above all else. , " curball2002 " <curball2002 wrote: > > Hey Pat, > > To have the goal without the attachment to it, to know where we wish to go, yet surrendering on the way there.
